Out of ALL of the Special Forces/Tier One Operators that I know here on KZbin, who have their own companies, Tu Lam would be my pick to have my back. It's not just his skill set, it's his MIND set. He's so self-aware, so humble & filled with humility. He has an ego but he doesn't flaunt it. And he's very INTELLIGENT. He's a good husband and human being. During my deployments Oef and Oif, it was the special forces that trained us up to the standard, that we would need to survive, and all of our instructors told us what it boils down to in a pot is proper prior planning, prevents piss, poor performance. And we watched this save our troops over and over. I believe they would have a hell of a problem on their hands if they tried to take you against your will God bless you.

I understand that feeling. It's terrifying to be unarmed in when downrange. And, if you fly into a combat zone via civilian air, you can't take your pea shooters with you. So, you may have to wait a few days before going to the "candy store." Or, if mission dictates. Operating like that always caused me tremendous stress.

His mentality is what separates. He always thinks he's a "prime target" and that's what keeps him frosty. That's just how he was trained. It's imbedded. You may not see it that way.. but he does. Years in service will just have you thinking different. I don't know personally.. but I have family that was incarcerated and even after being out of jail he always thinks like this. At first I scoffed but it's real talk. I get it. Don't react.. by that time it's too late. be proactive. Even if it appears to be "too overboard".
