Her calmness in the face of challenges is truly inspiring. It takes a special kind of strength to stay composed, and this story beautifully highlights that. Sometimes, it’s the quiet resilience that leaves the deepest impact. Such an impressive and touching story

This is not just another story, it mirrors exactly the reality we are currently living in and the situation in many of the cleaning companies, not even in our big cleaning company our cleaners are'nt even worth the water we use to keep the floors clean our supervisors step on everyday! Our company has its rules and values we must follow while our supervisors cuts corners and blames us for the consequences of their rude behaviour. I have no plans to change work because I do not work there because of those rude supervisors (That came to the company years after me) but because I have learned to appreciate the satisfaction the result of my work gives me and I know how important our work is for the whole society. I have survived 6 of my supervisors so far and if there is just a glimse of justice left, I will be the last of us to leave the company! To all cleaners/Janitors out there: Keep up the invaluable work you do out there Who ever you are, Where ever you are! You are worth GOLD! 👍❤

Wow, what an inspiring story! Clara's journey reminds us that true strength and leadership often come from understanding and empathy. It’s a powerful reminder that we should never underestimate anyone, regardless of their role. If I were in Clara's shoes, I would have been both motivated and determined to create a better workplace culture. It’s amazing to see how patience and observation can lead to such impactful change! 🌟💪 What would you all do in her situation?

i was a facilities engineer aka Janitor in this one building and worked on the executive floor. i knew the CEO, President and PR Vice President. i wasnt invisible to them and they even chatted with me. i once helped the VP with her violets to make them bloom more than once. she had them all over her office. she said even her gardener didnt know that trick. in all the buildings i worked in, never had employees being snide to janitors, but we WERE told to try to be invisible and dont talk with the company employees unless they ask you a question. except for the capitol building i never worked days, always from 6pm to 2 am.

Wow, that’s such a fascinating story! It’s amazing how your role as a janitor on the executive floor gave you such unique access to the higher-ups. It’s refreshing to hear that they appreciated your expertise and engaged with you as a person. Helping the VP with her violets sounds like a fun little connection! It really challenges the stereotype that some people might have about roles like janitors being invisible in the workplace. I’m curious, do you think that kind of interaction changes how people view their colleagues in different positions? I’d love to hear more about your experiences!

@@HOPEFULBLESSINGS the cleaning company i worked for later lost the account to another cleaning service who bid lower. turns out the new cleaning service wasnt that great and later when the bids came along again, my cleaning service won the bid, but i was no longer working as facilities engineer, aka as a janitor. id moved on worked for a company that delivered fresh fruit and veggies, to supermarkets and restaurants, and ski resorts. even had a delivery to an AFB and a casino. then i moved on to a job i really loved, long haul truck driving. jumped around to different companies till i found the one i liked and it didnt do NYC.

All are important to a company. The new CEO was and did the right thing; being invisible with great understanding in knowing that everyone is important for successfulness to go forward. Race and position weren't important but the listening ears of the new CEO made the biggest difference and it brought on changes in going in the right direction to making the company a great one. Positions in every area is important. I love this! THANKS

That's a fantastic perspective! It really reflects a deep respect for the dignity of every individual, regardless of their background or job. Your experience as a janitor and the connections you made with higher-ups truly showcase the importance of valuing everyone in a workplace. It’s interesting how societal norms sometimes dictate who gets to be seen and heard, yet you've managed to create meaningful interactions that defy those expectations. What do you think motivates people to overlook others in the workplace?

Many Businesses need to be cleansed that way, because many Management personnel and those in authority feel that they are the only ones that should have money in their pockets, and that they are who are running the business, forgetting that maid, servers, cooks etc. are the ones who are keeping any company a float, not one person can run a business alone, when those in charge or in control, begin to treat their employees like dirt is when the company starts to loose their standards, and lately I am appreciative to you all putting a colored person to try to make it possible to be an example for respectability, dignity and rights for the downtrodden individuals, thank you, I enjoyed your story line 😇👍👏🙏🏻🙋😄✌
