An ancient fleet created for when an ancient evil returned and man had returned to the stars.. After winning the battle planned so long ago, man showed that we had not just become THE ultimate power in space, but one with a galaxy of allies. The wisdom we had learned was not to dominate and rule alone, but to share our recovered past. Remain staunch allies to our new friends and allies. Not conquerors but as guardians and protectors.. Now that, is a future worth fighting for.. We earned the trust of our friends, and that’s a future I’d love to see us grow into.

50,000 years of vacuum stresses, thermal stresses, micro-meteorite impacts, radiation exposure, and who knows what else... just what the hell was that armor made of, I wonder?
@patrickeriksoncharette912510 күн бұрын
Most likely very, very thick advanced metallurgy. Take in example the materials used from old Atlantis Empires spawning from before 32k bc to 9600bc before the collapse. Go back 50,000 years in past you can clearly have a form of space faring humanity. This is what sci fi is all about. Science extrapolated in fiction.

Human's ancestors knew a very old principal called the KISS principal. A principal that was used effectly against a dominant enemy. This is a really neat story, worth the time it takes to listen to it.
@markedwards6455Ай бұрын
KISS, keep It Simple, Stupid. Ha, a principle I learned 44 years ago in the US Air Force. To never over complicate things when simple, was more reliable. More rugged, and worth the effort to keep it that way.

Okay, so the ancient humans built a fleet that could destroy the enemy, the enemy never changed tactics or increased their own tech. The galactic council ships were essentially a liability that needed protecting, they were no help, the human fleet destroyed the enemy pretty much on it's own. The major flaw in the story, the ancient humans could have destroyed the enemy 50,000 years earlier using the fleet they put to sleep. No need to wait, they didn't have help in the future, they didn't need the help. A 50,000 year gap that didn't need to happen. Fatal flaw in the story, y'all missed it.
@bst9138Ай бұрын
Also, how did they miss this huge fleet hanging in space? It was still giving out power signatures. The ancient humans couldn't leave any information in books or a computer system that would activate and travel to earth after the aliens left? There's an awful lot of hole punching one can do with this story. It has a lot of flaws.

Spot on. Other plot holes as well.

It's just like the modern US navy. Many of their ships use simple analog systems, and some use displays to make it difficult to hack them. It's basically a mixture.

That's every military right now. Analog systems are important in the age of cyber warfare.

Sounds like the Mass Effect game about the Reapers, plus the picture looks like the Star Destroyer off of Star Wars

Pretty good story AI couldn’t pronounce some words but overall other than punctuation and grammar being horrible. It did a much better job than many that are out there.

The humans got to work after the battle. they made millions of bows, arrows, and spears. Cata pults that could toss a thousand-pound rock 300 meters.

I got a decade or so on you and can only hope this is as far as it goes. But you know dam well it won't. It's mind boggling seeing comments like, "Great Story" "Awesome, it should be a movie" "etc ...etc". When all you heard was nothing short of ridiculous. Important plot points ignored, repeating a scenario over and over or the feeling that the story ended half way through and started a completely different ones in it'd place.

Shouldn't these need a crew? An why are the AI not hacked? Some edits needed to remove unnecessary repetitiveness. The basic idea are not too wierd thou is look awfully similar to the much criticised ending of the modern iteration of Battlestar Galactica.

the ai-technology is not yet very advanced, it is still in its infancy it's funny that people are comparing fiction movies with reality that ai is really advanced in real life and can do it all already what a simple citizen expects of it to say it simple they are expecting too much
@jaredtankred9346Ай бұрын
Wow, clearly a rip off of the main Mass Effect series.
@scorpion_investor7 күн бұрын
Very repetitive. Lots of plot holes. Typical AI. Errors in the text that were nonsensical--not proofread. If advanced tech can be corrupted, how do the "primitive" human ships coordinate into formations without a crew? Why make such huge ships with mechanical levers if there is no physical person there to operate them? It makes no sense. Also, if these ancient ships were built to be simple and avoid being corrupted, what about the AI? Could that not also be turned against them? Cool idea, but not original and poorly written.
