My dentist, who is also my uncle, got crazy angry when I told him I did not want to take his antibiotics for my perionditis. But that I wanted to find another solution. I went home crying from that interaction that day. It was truly terrible how he treated me. Only to completely cure my "very aggresive" (his words) bacteria with tea tree oil and chlorine dioxide. Every time I go to him he is still amazed. Glad I did not let myself get bullied into taking those antiobiotics.

Because it’s just a buzzword. No one knows what a “good” gut biome is. Is it what you get from a carnivore diet? I don’t fart and poops don’t smell anymore. I prefer that. It certainly doesn’t come from eating a bunch of fiber waste that’s irritating and overworking your intestines. Fiber has no purpose in the human diet. It provides no nutrition. It just passes through and causes cancer with irritants.

I called my naturopath on a Sunday while staying 24/7 with a friend in the hospital for a week as her advocate... despite PPE, I contracted C-Diff. He recommended 3 natural remedies & I was able to buy them that afternoon at my local supplement shop... in 36 hours, it was gone! Natural remedies work without side effects, even on dangerous "bugs" like this that can be life-threatening. Same thing with UTIs; not an infection you want to allow to go rampant... a leading cause of death amongst women over 65: sepsis from urinary tract infections. Took a 5 ingredient protocol... it was eradicated in 24 hours. No recurrence. There are "superbugs" now that our immune systems didn't evolve with... those are two that I wasn't about to treat with a "wait-and-see" approach!

A family member - who had his doctorate in Science - told me only to ever take antibiotics as a last resort. Infections in the bladder etc are easily remedied with herbs and if it's taking longer than it should change from alkaline to acidic, depending on what you were using. And don't mix cranberry with other medications. Neither with the alkaline cures (like parsley tea)

Hello, The interesting thing is that I make this yogurt with L. reuteri after 8 to 16 hours of fermentation. If I extend it to 36 hours, I end up with cheese curds! :) Perhaps this happens because I live in Europe, in the land of Bulgarian yogurt, where dairy cultures develop quickly and successfully. I use real, natural buffalo milk from pasture-raised animals, and I get amazing yogurt in a much shorter time. What do I want to say? That we should not give up on making something if it doesn’t work under different conditions or in other places. This yogurt is wonderful, and I believe it truly benefits not only the digestive system but also emotional well-being. Thanks to Dr. Berg for his efforts and dedication to spreading awareness about all of this. Stay healthy and loved!

@ultralyrics1, there are lots of antivirals that you can use. Oil of Oregano is my favorite. Colloidal silver is great. Many herbs are antiviral, too. Grapefruit seed extract works but is so bitter! Salt water gargle helps with throat infections. Having something on hand helps because you can stop the infection before it gets bad.

Unfortunately streptococcus bacteria can go to heart & cause rheumatic heart disease which greatly reduces lifespan if untreated. Before antibiotics it and other complications like encephalitis & sepsis killed many, including my grandpa. I’ve been making L reuteri “yogurt” for about six weeks now. The benefits I’ve experienced are undeniable. Deeper sleep, increased libido, a general feeling of happiness, and I even feel a little more social. I have been doing this for a few months now. In the video he says put in 2 table spoon of inulin, but then in the comments he corrects it to 1. When I put in 2, it over fermented, making that separation and curd like stuff. So 1 tbs is enough!! I also found that mixing a little bit of the leftover yogurt with the inulin first, before adding the half and half, helps and it does not clump up when mixing. Without doing that, the inulin can clump up when you add the half and half. Good luck with it!

fascinating, we are the generations that got the most antibiotics I believe, and as usual, unintended consequences followed. I love how you showed how to make this yogurt at the end. ❤ Thank you Dr. Berg.

I am serious about healing my gut. I've been gut sick for 10 years. Now I have an ulcer and struggle to eat. I just ordered a few things for the yogurt recipe. Wish me luck? I'll keep you posted.

Thank you for the recipe. What I like best about it is that you show brands we can buy and use. At this point I am exhausted trying to figure stuff out and having an easy button to start this process is great.

I have Kefir (with good cultures) with some nuts and blueberries for breakfast everyday. Hope that's good for my gut. Have been doing the Keto diet for two weeks and am thrilled with the results.

Nuts contain mold and will harm your gut. This is why people are allergic to nuts.

I've been drinking homemade kefir for years, the stuff you buy from the supermarket is not the same as homemade, weak in comparison, I wouldn't go a morning without it... Try adding some oats

@@stevenduncan3260 Thanks for your reply. I did make my own for a while by buying some kefir and mixing it with milk and waiting a few days. I started buying it, but make sure it has got the good cultures in it, as some do not. I agree with you that homemade is better. I'm keeping away from oats because they are high in carbs. I'm following the Keto diet and oats and wheat are off the list.

Idk about nuts, most of them are high in oxalates, especially peanuts, almonds, and cashews

@@dukington101 I know. I recently found this out. When I eat nuts, I always eat them with a piece of cheese.

Something very important I have noticed from my own experience is this - when eating meat, combining it with vegetables helps the digestive system immensely. It helps to keep waste moving on outward.

I discovered the vegetables I enjoyed and thought they were good for me, to find out, they are high in oxalates (causes inflamation). Read up on oxalates to see if your vegetables are high in them, too.

I use Olive Leaf as an antibiotic for my dogs, I also use bentonite clay with it externally. Since I cook for them, they also get bone broth, I try my best to give them everything to live a healthy life. I also give garlic and ginger from time to time. As Hipocrates said "let medicine be thy food, and food be thy medicine".

@@flamingpieherman9822 everything in moderation and garlic is healthy for dogs. The study that was done and why they claimed it was dangerous is that they gave a golden retriever 70 garlic cloves and caused her to go anemic - which absolutely disgusts me. I use garlic to boost the immune system a few times a month, one small clove per dog.
