As a Utah local I can tell you, there is a lot of crazy drivers out on the road, I have noticed it get a lot worse the last couple of years especially because we are having a lot of Californians moving into the state. They are jacking up the housing prices and causing a ton of car accidents.

Oh man, the fix for that refueling problem on the mustang is like $20, it's super common on many fords: it's the EVAP purge solenoid that sticks open, so when you refuel, the liquid fuel pushes fuel vapors out, they fill your intake through the defective purge valve, flooding the engine.

When you were talking about the ford that tried to do an insurance scam, Pulling in front of the lady and slamming on the brakes and when that didn't work they reversed into her. People in the area found the fraudsters car and smashed all the windows etc. They also graffitied the car so everyone know they are an insurance scammer.

0:48 for those who don't know yet, you can use "J" "K" and "L" to quick rewind, pause/play, and quick forward, respectively. That way you don't double click and exit full screen accidentally.

At 40:56, that section is rather new. St george believed the new design would reduce accidents since there was only one traffic light there. We tended to call that area "The left turn of death" for the bonkers amount of accidents that happen there due to that left hand road merging into bluff.

Funny story of the number 4 clip of the flying tire. When I was either 3 or 4 years old I was sitting in the kitchen table and all of the sudden heard a long bang and sounded of something flying in air, I looked at my door(with was see through) and all of the sudden a tire landed in the middle of the street infront of my house

Seeing my friend's house in one of the clips is crazy. I remember one time I was over there and this elderly lady in a prius had left her ebrake on, so she ended up driving for MILES dragging her locked up tires behind her. They ground down into the calipter. They were half wheels. It was nuts. What's crazier is she pulled over and asked us if there was something wrong with her vehicle because something didn't feel right.

Born and raised in Northern Utah so I am familiar with some of these roads. Driving around here can be an adventure, especially with the folks who drive like 4-wheel drive will help them brake on slick roads.

33:28 I had something like that happen to me once when I was pulling onto the freeway. Hit a slick spot in some rain and turned all the way around until I was facing the wrong way. Luckily, I managed to avoid actually hitting anyone, but it was pretty scary. I had to sit there for a couple seconds to recover before I could move to be out of the way. Also, there's something about your chibi model that makes you getting angry so much funnier.

Driving in the snow by itself is harrowing, sure, but it's only as hazardous as you make it. As long as you're aware and prepared for the worst, maintain an appropriate speed and only use your brakes and steering in a controllable manner you can manage most situations. The absolute dangers are black ice and the unpredictability of every other driver, which in fairness are two very valid arguments for not driving cars anywhere during bad winter weather conditions unless you absolutely have to. Even during any period of extreme cold and/or snowfall its better to use a snow scooter or go by foot if possible and manageable.

13:00 People are calling speeding on this one, but to me this looks like a poorly controlled intersection on an open highway. We have multiple of these near me, and you have to ensure you have basically wide-open road to pull out safely because, at least here, the speed limit is generally in excess of 50mph/80kph. Some of them are infamous to locals for how dangerous they are.

19. Truck tapped him at the intersection, causing the SUV tires to lose traction and crash into the other truck. It's probably a 55-65 MPH road that crosses a 35-45 MPH road at the intersection without a light. There are tons of these in rural UT and as rural UT becomes less rural the local government isn't updating infrastructure fast enough. Honestly, I was in rush hour traffic the other day and it's worse than when I went to California in October. These big vehicles aren't safer, they're literally a danger to EVERYONE around them. If you can't see twelve kids sitting in a line in front of you, that car should not be street legal. UT drivers not knowing lane discipline during turns is of epidemic proportions. I just don't turn left if I see there are people at an intersection turning right to avoid cross lane crashes. That's another thing wrong with UT, not nearly enough streets have dedicated left turn lanes for intersections and parking lots. Like, not even a shoulder. It'll be a 45 or even 55 mph road and to enter a commercial place you have to come to nearly a complete stop in the middle of the road.

That’s not really true I have a 17 escape from new interior quality is better than most Chevys. had very very little issues with it . The all-wheel-drive system is quite impressive for the size it will get through a lot of snow. and at least in my market they actually are still quite expensive even for the used ones they hold their value here.

There are occasionally videos in these compilations where it is just a guy moving over in front of someone else and they say "This guy cut me off!" (example 32:05 in this vid.) I'm sitting here, like, "they were a good 5 feet ahead of you, they were no where close to cutting you off?" I live in Wisconsin, and shit like that is a 5-10 times a day driving situation and no one around here complains about it at all. If he had got in front of you and then slowed down, yeah, that is something to complain about, but the white truck didn't do that, so I don't see the problem at all. The driver with the camera was the crazy guy in the end.
