Am I the only one who listened to this only to find that it highlights how Stephanie and her 🐼 are basically modern-day relationship goals? They work together as a team, he chooses to stay behind the camera and loves to help her shine, yet the actions of both (even with him behind the camera) show that theirs is an equal partnership: He's still part of the conversations, part of the meals, and part of the videos. He's never left out, she never hogs the spotlight and includes him; it is not all about her. From a viewers perspective; they have a solid relation/partnership full of mutual respect, appreciation, and friendship and their differences only serve to strengthen them together. Totally #RelationshipGoals

The fact that some women knew they were in such a simulation *and were also happy* speaks volume. Bunny *genuinely* was happy that she was a SAHM. Like Alice tries telling her “Bunny, your kids aren’t real” and Bunny saying “But they’re real *to me*“ almost implies that maybe Bunny couldn’t have children in the real-world or maybe she lost a baby in the past (her saying ‘I can’t lose them here’ is my main idea) like the reason Alice and Margaret wanted to leave is they were forced, while Shelly and Bunny knew what they wanted and chose on their own. The story, to me, is less about one ideal or the other being good or bad, but more the partnership itself. The relationships where they all have the same meet-cute beginning are inherently toxic from the getgo, right away, as the women are literally forced by some essentially a random dude. The ones with kids generally want them, like Bunny, while the ones that don’t stay away from having them, like Alice. Jack pressuring Alice to have a baby shows where their ideas of a future really *begin* to split apart. It is really sad to think about Margaret’s son, though, as if the kids really aren’t real in the physical world it’s implied that Margaret waking up unintentionally deleted her son, as she brought him to the real world… but there was no body for his consciousness and therefore no way to put his consciousness back into Victory.

I love your pov about the movie and i thought i would share a few of mine 1. When she wraps her head and can't breathe and has some pressures i thought of it as a signal from her body trying to wake her up or deciding that 2 years inside the simulation were enough and tried to end her existence, cuz from her reactions it seems like it was the first time all those things were happening. 2. With the earthquakes i saw it as some sort of reboot in the simulation, for example, in my workplace there is always a reboot at exactly 12:53 to maintain the system fresh and workin 3. With the plane and all i thought of it as her brain taking what she knows from the disappearance of Margaret's son and her having an idea of were the exit is, since both of the planes were red and making the connection of "he vanished in the dessert, maybe there's something there"

My understanding for Shelly's statement implied that this whole thing was her doing, remember when she walked out of the dinner like the boss... the plot telling us about Bunny being aware of the simulation was maybe giving us a glimpse that maybe some couples were in it together given Bunny's husband was allowed to leave for 'work' and not her despite it being her preference, so thinking along those lines,I feel Frank was just Shelly's puppet...as always great storytelling skills, you didn't miss a scene, perfect!

@@yeIIoe Bunny tells Alice if you die in Victory you die in the real life. I imagine Alice regains consciousness, removes the weird device that holds her eye lids open, looks beside her and Jack is laying in bed beside her…dead. That’s just what I imagined after the movie ended. I would think Alice could call 911 and with all of the software or machines (that allow people to enter Victory) in their apartment she’d have enough evidence to get off the hook for murder. And in the real world I would think you can see the injuries he sustained in Victory. But that’s all just the impression I got. The movie definitely leaves it up for the viewer to decide.

Sounds like, Edward Scissorhands meets, Pleasantvile meets, Stepford Wives! From the aesthetic to the secret jobs that they all go to, at the same time: a town nobody know how to leave, and aren’t allowed to; to the cult life Husbands, the ones that keep their wives under some sort of hypnosis!! Definitely never seen this, but from the way you’re describing it- it’s exactly like those 3 movies wrapped in one.
