I agree. At 2:44 when she sings Close to You, it sounds just as good as when I heard it decades ago. That part of the song I think is one the greatest parts of any song ever written. We were only married a year or so when this beautiful song was released by the Carpenters. Karen passed way too young & the world lost an angel but heaven found one. I remember when this song came out as well and we were gifted with the music of the Carpenters. Richard would of been tickled by the singing and playing of piano Emily. It was Karen's Angelic voice and being a drummer is why I was fortunate enough at 63 to be able to resume drum lessons, since 1971 when I stopped. To hear Emily is such a gift at my age performing a cover From Burt.
