*LYRICS - Kiss Me* ------------ Kiss me, out of the bearded barley Nightly beside the green, green grass Swing, swing, swing your spinning step You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress Oh kiss me, beneath the milky twilight Lead me out on the moonlit floor Lift your open hand, strike up the band And make the fireflies dance, silver moon sparkling So kiss me Kiss me, down by the broken tree house Swing me upon its hanging tire Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat We'll take the trail marked on your father's map Oh kiss me, beneath the milky twilight Lead me out on the moonlit floor Lift your open hand, strike up the band And make the fireflies dance, silver moon sparkling So kiss me Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight Lead me out on the moonlit floor Lift your open hand, strike up the band And make the fireflies dance, silver moon sparkling So kiss me So kiss me (Out of the bearded barley) (Nightly) So kiss me (Down by the broken tree house) (Swing me) So kiss me (Beneath the milky twilight) (Lead me) So kiss me Album: Hopefully a future album

It was at the end of the 1990s I met a girl when I was stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. She was so amazing. And every time I was in port, I would see her. We would drive in my car around the island and it seemed like every time we hit a stop light, that "Kiss Me" song by Sixpence would come on the radio. So she demanded a kiss. And it became our song. A good excuse to stop and kiss. 24 years later. We're still kissing, and it's still our song. Thanks for this rendition of it.

The choice of this song is truly excellent. A pop love song from the 90s with a very beautiful poetic lyrics. Perfect for Katie's voice that she delivers every time with an intensity of her own. The harmonizations and the solo parts are very beautiful, Julianne's mandolin is to be underlined this time. Then I want to emphasize the bass line that Mom plays perfectly. I don't know if it's in the European tour lineup, but it's definitely worth considering. By the way: I'm sure it will be a triumphant tour!!! 🌟👍

There is no pretense, no histrionics, just the naturalness that comes from a God-given talent. This is something very special 👏👏👏 Thank you very much for this moment of pure enjoyment!
