That is NOT a total station. It is an auto level. It can literally only tell you if things are level in a 360°. A total station would do totally everything including angles, trunions, distance shots, prism tracking, radio communication with a field tablet, so many more things. Auto levels are like the basic of the basic of survey equipment and this one appears to be modeled after the old spectra AL22 series which I believe only had 24x's magnification

Ironically, in the US, roads are intended to make you put some amount of steering or throttle input in as you can get tunnelvision or grey out and become far more likely to cause accidents. Perks of living in a country with states bigger than countries.

Surveyor here! That thing on the tripod isn't a total station, it's an optical level. A total station can rotate its lens on a horizontal and vertical axis, while optical and digital levels can only rotate on a vertical axis. You can also see that it is a an optical level because it's basically just a scope on a mount. A digital level would have some sort of case around the scope to house the electronics and a screen.

I'm a real landsurveyor, and that device is not a total station. Its a "spirit level" (google translate answer). A total station can rotate on horizontal and vertical. The "spirit level" can only rotate horizontal. Total station is used to measure the X, Y and Z(height) coordinates. The "Level" measure only heights.

That is clearly a bridge. We see the water going under it. It just so happens the bottom of the bridge happens to be right at the water line. If there was a bit of a drought, you wouldn't even question this sine you would see some separation between the water and the bridge.

i love how the "gun" is a joke on USA Gunlaws. its literally a trigger (lower) with a stick of wood. legaly in USA this is a firearm even if you literally cant shoot a bullet or have a barrel or bolt. edit: sorry its a joke on a granade launcher

It's actually an underbarrel grenade launcher. It's a silly way of showing how you can use such a weapon with a makeshift buttstock. Also, if it was "just a trigger", aka, the fire control group, it still wouldn't count as a firearm. A full-auto SMG with its chamber chopped in half is considered deactivated and is legally nothing, trigger be damned. A black powder revolver also has a trigger and is legally speaking, not a firearm. With an AR-15 style longarm, the lower receiver is legally considered a firearm. Why? Because that's where the cartridge is detonated. It's where the actual work happens. But it's also the part that carries the Serial Number and other legal stamps or etchings. Grenade launchers are not considered firearms, they are Destructive Devices but only if they're 40mm. If it's 37mm, you've got a Flare Launcher.

​@@md_vandenberg it loks to me like like a AR15 lower with a granade launcher - but you are correct as there would be actually no way to install this launcher without the mounting hardware around the barrel. my "just a trigger" wording was about the AR15. because the AR15 lower is definetly a registerd product where the barrel is not. btw: i really hope your lower does not detonate because it sould be inside the barrel and your Bolt/breach fully closed like in all firearms.
