@@SeisoYabai it would be like Fire Plume Phoenix except 3 mana instead of 4 so it's pushing it a bit and I know that with the coin it could be considered as a 2 mana card, but because the coin is situational (target needs to survive), the card is class specific and on rotation it should be fine. I do think that warrior should be in a weaker state for it to be printed, as the card pushes the class a little bit, but considering warrior now, I think the card wouldn't get any play in the current meta. Unless it fits into some never-before-seen aggro warrior deck that no one thought of, that is.

Extra problem with Bookmaster BaeChao: it makes Libram of Justice absolutely worthless. To the problem of a card with only sinergizes with 6 cards in your deck, add the anti-synergy of this card, and you have an even bigger mess

@@SeisoYabai He's saying that its weird that Bao Chao only works with 6 spells in the entire game; and with the libram of justice anti-synergy she would only work with 4 spells in the entire game. The problem isn't that the anti-synergy exists, that kind of thing is common (like AoE clears in minion swarm decks, like you said) the problem is that it removes an entire third of the cards she was supposed to work with. Its one of the smallest niches I've seen for a card that didn't explicitly name another card in its text.

Idea for how to fix crucible of infinity. 8 Cost 5/1 Deathrattle: Equip a Warrior weapon that costs 2 less. It gains this deathrattle. So in current format, the curve is: Sul'thraze > Wrenchcalibur > Woodcutter's Axe Cuts variance, and currently is basically 5/1-4/4-3/2-2/2 which is 31 damage, but that comes over 9 turns, and is roughly on par with the damage output of a gorehowl hitting minions.

It's just a bad designed card though because it has no hard counter, unless they print a card that silences and destroys weapons. You can keep the weapon sheated fore like forever until you find the moment to keep hitting face or an annoying minion.

Uh, if Crucible of Infinity equips itself at some point with its effect, the next weapons will have two of the deathrattle which will cause a loop in which you equip new weapons infinitely since each deathrattle will destroy the weapon and trigger the other deathrattle.

The biggest problem I have with hermes boots is how do you show that in hand? The card doesn't summon the minion, so it has to somehow show in your hand that the minion now has divine shield and rush, but you can't really add text to a card, so maybe a special aura coming from the card? Idk doesn't seem like a great idea at the moment, unless the HS team tries to explore handbuffing in a different way.

Btw crucible of infinity could go infinite with the neutral 4 mana minion that reequips your weapon. The weapon just reequips itself infitely because two death rattles equip a random weapon trigger at once that pass it down and its Desaster.

Bookmaster Bae chao should say something like : Spellburst Silence all Minions if it was a Libra spell silence all Enemie Minions instead. This way it is still usable and have a way to interact with Libra spells. Sometimes you may net even want to use a Libra spell so you can silence a minion you might have gotten through a random effect etc.

High Recorder Handar also works really well with two Call to Adventure. People could limit their 1 & 2 mana minions to 2x Aldor Attendant and High Recorder Handar and greatly increase their chances of drawing all 3. With two "First Day of School" they wouldn't even give up that much in the early game. I made legendary for the first time last month with a Libram deck, and even I see this as too spooky.

My fix for Karma: Spellburst - pick one mantra, that mantra is applied to the spell you cast. Mantras would be: Spelldamage +2, regain 2 mana (instead of "costs 2 less mana) or twinspell (replacing lifesteal which I'm not that opposed for mages, but there is no way of avoiding a lifesteal flamestrike with this card and a lifesteal flamestrike is just too OP)

I think if Karma would cost 4 or 5 it would be fine as it is as then you couldn't cast Flamestrike or Blizzard, if you're worried about that combination. But I still agree with Trump that it's very Shaman flavored and needs something magey to make it a dual class. As a Shaman cardit would work as is.

Lightning bloom is the combination between Druid unique(0 mana gain 2 mana) and Shaman unique(overload) 2. is the dual class card that use the crossover mechanic between two class like for ex. Soul fragment dual class card or Guardian Animals Ready. aim. FIRE! doesn't have any unique class ability so it has to fall under the second category but then it summon Fire Elemental which Hunter never use make the card only has Mage unique aspect while doesn't have any Hunter unique aspect making the design a bit off.

warrior and mage is not a weird pairing. It's how you get to a point of being a battle-mage, a mage that essentially has undergone the training a warrior would when it comes to melee combat. exactly in the same way as paladins came to be, where a priest would under go warrior training. As for karma, she should be a priest only card, as a character she herself is essentially a spirit that manifests in a person and continues that cycle, rather than actual reincarnation.

Suggested fix for Karma: Battlecry: Choose a Spellburst Mantra Now the Spellburst effect is the reminder and it's one effect less. Problems: now it can't directly enhance the spell. So instead: get armor, gain temporary mana crystals or deal extra damage I think that should solve all problems. just make the armor equal to spellcost and it should be fine. We literally already had that effect. It also has less variance then life steal, taking flame strike and meteor as the worst offenders.

Wildly untrue many cards are fine on their own or they’re fine in a fairly wide group of cards. Beyond that this is like making a spellburst card that says if the card you cast is polymorph, polymorph the board. You see how dumb and limited it sounds right like Libram cards aren’t necessarily cards that need to be together, and having a payoff for the payoff of libram is just kinda dumb and even then the payoff for the payoff is also dumb

does that custom card Cruicble of infinity have an infinite loop? if you somehow got a second one and you equip it while you have the first one equiped, you would break the old one, and equip a new weapon which would break your current one which would break your other one which would break your current one ... ect

I think soul giant should cost around 9 mana and be legendary while saying something along these lines battlecry: consume all soul fragments in your deck give you one mana crystal for each consumed

Jackeea but it would use up the fragments so you cant do it again maybe if you jeppeto the soul giant and get a 1 mana gain 10 mana with some preperation
