I'm pretty sure they had 3 structure decks based on Yusei. I had gotten all of them as my favorite monster is Stardust Dragon. We have a long history together. I love that card ❤️. The 3 decks 1st being Junk Warrior, 2nd Junk Destroyer, and last is the Synchron Extreme Deck and I believe that one is based more off his Manga Deck.

The structures had more of an identity and I did enjoy those a lot more. Specifically the warrior structure with Gearfried the Master Swordsman

They were out of sync with the anime standard, or were hesitant putting in Extra Deck monsters. Now you get a heap of Extra Deck support with structures.

Should have, but they ommitted the fusion heroes so that you chase them out in packs At that time they were pushing GX so hard and jaden's elemental flame wingman was basically jaden's iconic boss monster, so the fact that flare wingman isn't there feels less like jaden's deck and more like just some random starter deck with light theming toward Jaden.

My niece and I had a duel. Blue eyes structure deck vs her Traptrix. Probably not the best deck for beginners but i had an extra one. I must say it was a good battle. Black Luster Soldier is the card I wish you'd have seen more of in the anime but yeah Ritual Monsters sucked back in the day unfortunately. Awesome video really brought the feels back to me and it is sad the Starter Deck Jaden didn't give you Flame Wingman considering it was the first fusion hero in the show. An idea for a themed duel: Spirit Monsters Vs Gemini Monsters, Fabled Vs Old School Darkworld, and Buster Blader Vs Black Luster Soldier. Just throwing some thoughts out there.

Super nostalgic, especially the Yugi deck. So, apparently you can ask Chat GPT to build a deck and set parameters for what the deck should be (IE: build a yugioh deck built around red eyes black dragon) and it will straight up put a deck together and outline the strategy for it as well. It would be kind of fun to see you guys do that, have it build a couple decks based off somewhat less favorable cars, and then try to duel using those decks. Just an idea that came to mind. This is real Yugioh XD I want to see a 'Structure Deck' format in the spirit of the anime where you're only allowed 1 of each card unless you have another card that requires multiples (Blue Eyes Ultimate, Cyber End Dragon etc). Having to work with what you've got instead of relying on hyper efficiency makes for far more compelling gameplay.

Do you think Yugioh are phasing out the polymerisation spell card, with an increase in fusion monsters being possible to summon without it and the fact you don’t require a spell card to Synchro or XYZ summon? I had a hunch they were making it less necessary with cards like Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon and the new Gate Guardian fusion support.

Good ol' days where YuGiOh was about overpowering your opponent with high attack monsters and where spells and traps were simple yet effective... The duels used to be just beating each other down slowly, instead of waiting 5 minutes for your opponent to complete their turn, filling their entire side of the field with special summoned monsters and spells/traps, just to get destroyed cause you cant do shit as 2nd turn player...

At this rate the banished zone will also become a secondary deck just like the graveyard unless they are face down. I like summoning strong monsters fast just like the next guy but is never fun having to wait for your opponent take 10 minutes or more per turn just to end up with like 5 + more negates on top of probably also locking your monster/back row zones ..

And master duel isn’t YGO, it’s different banlist and everything also it’s BO1

I've played Yugioh for 15+ years and the last 5 years have been the least fun for me (maybe cause my old ass cant keep up). A single duel should last longer than 5 minutes, have multiple turns and sometimes you can go a whole 30 minutes without a turn.

The world of Yu-Gi-Oh has brought us countless epic duels over the years, but imagine a match-up between two of the franchise's most beloved protagonists - Yugi Muto/Atem from the original series and Jaden Yuki with his partner Yubel from Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Who would come out on top in this fierce clash of legendary duelists? Let's take a closer look. The Battle Begins As the two duelists take their places on opposite sides of the playing field, the tension is palpable. Yugi, with his signature Millennium Puzzle glowing on his chest, exudes confidence and determination. On the other side, Jaden, with his deck infused with the power of darkness, shares a silent exchange with Yubel, ready to unleash their combined strength. The duel begins, and both duelists draw their starting hands. Yugi, as always, starts off with his iconic Dark Magician and sets a face-down card. Jaden plays his powerful Frightfur Tiger, which destroys Yugi's Timaeus Dragon, but in turn, activates the spell card Monster Reborn to summon it back to his side of the field. Yugi follows suit by summoning his signature Dark Magician Girl, adding more firepower to his already formidable deck. The Duel of the Mind As the duel reaches its midway point, Jaden plays one of his ace cards - the fearsome Supreme King Dark Neos. As Yugi struggles to fend off the attack, he realizes that Jaden is not alone in this duel. Yubel, who possesses Jaden's mind and body, taunts Yugi on their quest for ultimate power. But Yugi's strong will and determination give him an edge, as he summons his other self - Atem, the mighty pharaoh. The Final Showdown As both sides reach their limits, Yugi and Atem combine their powers to bring forth the most majestic creature in their deck - the Egyptian God Slifer the Sky Dragon. With Slifer's unbeatable strength, Yugi and Atem are able to withstand Jaden's powerful attacks. But Jaden is not one to give up easily, and he too enlists the help of Yubel to summon her ultimate form - the fearsome Yubel - Terror Incarnate. A battle of the gods ensues as the two legendary creatures clash, causing the entire playing field to tremble. But with a final stroke of genius, Yugi and Atem are able to summon the all-powerful Obelisk the Tormentor, and with its mighty blast, they are able to defeat Yubel and secure the victory. The Winner Emerges As the match comes to an end, both duelists lay exhausted on the ground, but also satisfied with the intense duel they just experienced. And as the dust settles, the winner is declared - Yugi Muto/Atem. His mastery of strategy, determination, and powerful deck proved to be the ultimate combination, allowing him to emerge victorious against the formidable duo of Jaden and Yubel. In conclusion, a duel between Yugi Muto/Atem and Jaden Yuki with Yubel would be a sight to behold. Both duelists possess incredible skills and iconic decks that have stood the test of time. While Yugi and Atem's bond and synergy gave them the upper hand in this particular battle, there is no doubt that Jaden and Yubel are also formidable opponents in their own right. Ultimately, this duel showed us that even in the most intense and epic of battles, the power of friendship and determination can be the key to victory.

if u could do a more modern anime duel like Playmaker (Code Talkers/Pure Cyberse) vs Revolver (Borrel/DragonLink) i feel like those could be fun and a bit more engaging. also including some light, on-theme support such as the "Half" archetype of spells/traps if you were playing a Yuma/Utopia deck. best wishes, duelists 🎉
