That terror clip is actually a perfect example of why people really shouldn't queue with their friends from across the globe. A player from Asia/OCE in an NA lobby, regardless of skill, is just not a fun experience because of how Bungie (badly) handles lag compensation. From terrors point of view when he's dead it looks like you just sort of glitch horizontally towards the tree, but on your POV it's just an icarus dash. The game can't handle the difference in ping and doesn't know what to "tell" the other person is happening and so they end up with these weird glitched animations and jolty movement (on top of your already genuine good movement). No hate intended, not sticking up for terror specifically (I've never even watched him) but this is why we need dedicated servers.

@@Kojiro-is-taken we are probably talking about different kinds of movement, because I promise you even on 20 sensitivity and a 1.5 ads scalar, ur not doing a 180 blade barrage or silence and squal etc. This is due to game design with controllers. Controller sensitivities ramp up and are not instant. Like I said maybe we are talking about completely different movement techs, some things are indeed possible, some things are not, it’s just how the game is currently designed.

As long as they never go the way of full crossplay despite gaming device for pvp, since you can only play pc on console if in party with a pc player, I will stay on console. The 4x frame rate difference is heavily felt on console when playing pc players, as you feel like peaking any angle against any pc player gun that you always take dmg first…. But that’s just the frame rate dif. If I have to switch to my pc some day so be it BUT I prefer the console lobbies since I don’t come across hard cheaters…. Maybe a zen or xim player once in a blue moon but they are normally pretty obvious when they 180 insta slide or backslide compared to what i normally see out of my fellow ascendant console players

Man… this load out is super satisfying. I now get it. Even in my lobbies with meta ascendant slaves I’m hitting my reg 2kda+ I’m surprised how versatile this loadout is and how effective it can be. It can get to the pint where it does loom like a macro when u can hit it all the time. I see where your coming from tho.
