The tavern buff must be programed as like an aura effect which is why when the Quillboar who shrinks your guy attacked the imp it became a 37/37

Their nerfs in trinkets season definitely feel like fun police. Was so much more fun before the nerfs. It is just stupid to nerf the highrolls instead of buffing the undeperformers. Years ago Blizzard advocated for everything to feel overpowered. The Blizzard we will remember.

thats exactly how I feel about the trinkets right now. it was super fun and interesting then they just kept nerfing them to where some of them are actually just so bad they might as well not exist.

That "everything overpowered" policy is what lead to the least fun series of expansions in the history of (constructed) Hearthstone. Just because they said something doesn't mean they were right.

The funnier thing is they nerfed so many trinkets for scaling builds while they buffed leapfrog trinkets as if those are underperforming. Gee, thanks, I'm so happy my 10,000/10,000 mech I was scaling for 7 turns loses to a board with like +5/+5 off base stats and reborns, and my chance to counter him is RNG if whitemane lands on baron.

what is annoying me atm, is the amount of gold you can make with mech builds and the shitty turn times you get to spend like 10% of that gold.... makes it basically pointless! end turn with like 50 gold 😂 stupid blizzard

Just adapt to the new times, man! If they are nerfing reroll Demons and you are on a lobby with Beasts, try the ooze trinket and put the battlecry ooze with a Rylak and a Baron. If played well, things can get pretty big.

The last decisions, so bad. If he would have removed taunt from the big guy, double-taunted both leroys (dropping one measily baron), the last round would have been an absolute crush. But nah, strange plays happend, biggest demon got 3/3ed - again. Its just not feasible in bg to play a board in anticipation that the enemy makes a clever move on the board. And as we all seen, his enemy made a bad board-choice. 99% of players just put scam-stuff 2, 3 places later and thats it. Edit: Omg, he even lost. i didnt watched the absolute final round. Double Taunt-Leroy and he would have won. Such a bad decision burns my soul.

Haha had a beast game earlier where i got 3 golden (deathrattles trigger twice) forget the name had only a normal frog with reborn and 2 of the 2 taunt when death one with reborn and it was still producing 5k beasts. Ended up losing to a smart player who went (turn a tier 5 minion taunt. And had big elementals so he taunted the middle one and sniped the two on the sides. Was clever. Was insanly greedy but it was funny

The most devistation decision, that lead to his loss, was dropping the leroys and banking on unscaleble double baron. Look at the second to last round: One lerroy killed one big divshield-minion instantly - and wing would have run in to the other one, letting the enemy boards left in shambles. And then he doubled down and taunting his crap up. What happend? biggest minion got 3/3ed again. That was truly a masterfully bad gamedecision it boggles the mind. The elementalguy is simply the key silver bullet to the strat he choose and he even played in to that silver bullet, banking on ONE instance of pure luck. Where is his lone two demons would have been enough to kill the enemy board, if not reduced to nothing by one single card.

Cultist and baron actually has a far higher cap for stats than full demon, while also getting around some scam cards better, though not the 3/3 quillboar. Full leeroy/murloc can easily wipe 7 giant demons, but would never beat a well set up cultist/baron board. Though, that doesn't apply to this match because he wasn't running impulsive trickster. When those things start doubling with cultists and barons you easily skyrocket.

@@maxchenmusterhausen5311 warpwing used to not be able to die even to leeroy, so it's possible he was operating off of that assumption for the warpwing part. Edit: I'm actually unsure if this is STILL true, but I do know it was a problem once, because Warpwing was still considered "attacking and immune" during the leeroy trigger. It's also possible he banked on the enemy putting the 3/3 quill further back, considering if the enemy was assuming the leeroys would be taunted, they shouldn't have put it 3rd. If the enemy played better Kripp would've also gotten a better result, ironically.

I dont remember a time where that was a thing, but i didnt played last season as much for example - and wing always died to leeroy. I mean it makes sense, "Immune" was never helpful against any non-targeted destruction, like boardclears and the like. From a design, it simply would not make sense wing wouldnt die to that effect. (i played dungeon run pve for hundreds of hours and experiemented with the immune ape, but he gets destroyed really easily. You simply cant target him or deal damage to him. so wing should always die against leeroy).

@@zacclark791 Something must have broken for you, because it did point it out the first time players entered BG after Duos patch. Not unusual for small indie company Blizzard to make a mistake like that though. It also definitely looks like a button to me, Hearthstone loves their special buttons, and it definitely has a shape cut out that the general random UI doesn't, but I would agree it's not a "giant" button
