They nerfed Vanessa's One-Shot Build. People immediately discovered a new one & it's just as insane.

17:17 - Star Chart is a tool (so your hammer would start working) and it provides a bonus option in the docks (+6 gold and +2 experience). It's a great item to snag in general. 28:35 - Broken Sword is currently not working (does not provide bonus damage when sold). Wasn't a bad purchase since you had a skill to grant damage when buying weapons, but it's useful to know.

I don't think it's just as good at all. This version you can get shields up and beat. If they don't have the powder flask for the knives it gets rough for them. It probably can be just as good but I'm my experience it's much more bearable now.

The game looks interesting, although those near-instant oneshots are kind of bad. The devs should use this beta period to catch all absurd bursts.

Would be interesting to see how different this beta would be if Vanessa wasn't a factor. Her kit is intentionally very fast but it's not nearly fragile enough right now. A cheap item akin to the iceberg that slowed rather than froze would help.

You will never be able to force this exact build consistently tho. The patch was actually really good. (And pig with bees and health counters This build And dooley w freeze counters this build)
