I hope u'll keep seeking & searching, & don't take just the nice bits. Come out of Babylon. Moses never told Israel to join the enemy prophesied in Deut.32, which false prophet Paul inadvertantly lets us understand is the church... from which also Islam comes (same core message & key players, & meetings, etc).... and which Paul says everyone must join! No! We must come out of the enemy, not join it. Read all the verses, not just the one or two Paul quotes to string toherher with others & twist the message!

Prayers are good, so are Tehillim (Psalms). Action is better. Being kind, going out of your way for another, listening when someone needs to be heard, telling a joke as needed, sharing something you have with someone, etc. Nrings blessings from Hashem for Israel, the hostages and the injured and mourning, and it helps perfect the world as G-d needs, which will advance the coming of Moshiach and the Redemption. I am heartbroken for all of the IDF soldiers and Zaka and the citizens that have been distressingly let down by people in the government who are not decisive leaders. They buckled when we were winning. We in the diaspora have been let down as well. Yet, the Rebbe, obm, would have something positive to tell us. More mitzvahs! More light to squelch the darkness! Oh how I wish he were here. We want Moshiach now! We don't want to wait! May we merit it to be speedily in our time.

Interesting that you use Elohim for G-d, which Jews don't use. Some xians would use it, meaning G-d in a plural sense, though not literally. That speaks to xians and their multiplicity belief, though as stated, not literally. It's the multiple qualities associated with G-d.

If you are a praying person, you will understand that the will of God is supreme. Meaning that you pray subjecting your desire to the will of God trusting God to present with what he considers best for you irrespective of what you desired. Now learning how to trust God and what he had in mind for us. If the Lord allows a pause to get some people out of the dungeon that should be ok. Yes because the mission was aimed to get the hostages which people of good conscience prayed for from across the world. While praying, we did not know how he will do it and if that is how he chooses- thank God all the same. The second mission is to root out the cause - source (Hamas) of the problem just to ensure that it doesn't repeat(Never Again). The two are intertwined and if a pause is required primarily to get the hostages out (as a whole preferably) or in part (part of the job done). All hostages may not make it out in the long run, but the more merrier. Then it becomes disappointing if they did not continue to reach the second goal whether or not they get all the hostages. Now you do not loose faith in this but keep praying for the mission to be accomplished in line with the will of the Almighty God. Just hope for the best but pray for the IDF because it hurts to see that even before 50 people are released, more than 60 of them have fallen. So fervent prayers for these guys who have families and loved ones should be taken very serious by all men of good conscience. May God hear our prayers and set the part for salvation of one and for all on both sides of isles.

The youth today does not have 20/20 vision yet. They have no personal hindsight. Look and study what God has said. I am a Christian and believe in the Grace of our Lord. If everyone were either Jewish or Christian and lived by the 10 Commandments this world would be a beautiful place.

Jews don't live by the Ten Commandments. We have 613 mitzvahs which include the Ten. All people are directed in the Torah, from G-d, to live by the 7 Noahide Laws, with all their intricacies. That is what G-d wants and needs.

Youth of any era and 20/20 vision are not very compatible. Who's responsible if our youth aren't learning to discern?

@karenaleman176 things Jews do to advance the perfecting of the world and the coming of Moshiach. May we merit it to be speedily in our time.

@karenaleman176 Teffilin are boxes and straps men wear which contain verses from the Torah. Tzitzit are strings specially tied on a garment that men wear under their clothes to remind them about he mitzvahs (commandments though not exactly) and our Creator. Shabbos candles are it 18 minutes before shabbat (sabbath). Tzedaka is charity though it involves making the world just (tzedek). Tehillim are the Psalms. Torah was dictated by G-d to Moses and tells us all about Him. What G-d wants and needs from us. It has everything we need to know that's relevant for all time.
