I am looking for and miss my good friend Daniel Amakye Adomako who went to Canada in 1976 . [ He had a senior brother in Ghana who then worked at CFAO Elertro Hall on High Street, Accra. They hail from Kwahu and or Akim Oda]. At that time Ghanaians did not need a visa to enter Canada, it was visa/permit on arrival for Commonwealth countries. It was also right before the Montreal Olympics. His last residence in Canada after Toronto was in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our last meeting was in Ghana when we both visted in Dec 1979. I have not seen or heard from him since. I am US domiciled . Any reader who knows him should please drop me a line, it will be worth a reward.

I hope the youth in Ghana are listening? This story reminds me of my host who gave me 24 hours but his kids came for the keys after 30 minutes. Where was I going? By then i have started working for just two weeks. So sometimes,when we say it's not all that easy. And your background also matters, listen to this guy, what to eat was even a problem.
