This is why I love disc golf so much. While I love competition and tournaments, what I really love is being out in nature with nothing but silence and the flight of your discs

I was so looking forward to playing this course this past December. I got up there and hung out with the owners. By the time I got to hole 2 I was feeling really odd. I went back to the car and things started going south for me so my friend drove me to Denver where I spent the day with altitude sickness. I'm from the east coast so never got to actually play. Fun to see it now on video.

Oh the richest sq mile on earth is talking about the gold rush era, it was originally a mining town (since abandoned, thus "ghost town". The amount of gold they were pulling out of the ground back then is a major factor that propelled this country to early wealth.

I visited this area last fall and drove right by this course several times, but never got a chance to play it. This is awesome to see the course finally! I did play Wondervu and it was the most fun round of disc golf I've ever had.

It's a beast of a drive for you but go play Alta Vista DGC down in cripple Creek. It's a handmade course in the heart of the mountains, has a little pro shop and some of the best views in Colorado disc golf.

Nice round! A buddy and I played this course 6-7 years ago when we went on vacation. Those stone ruins on hole 17 used to be a blacksmithing shop didn't they? Can't remember for sure but I know there was a blacksmithing shop there in the town somewhere. Pretty cool to see. Also played Lake Dillon's course while we were there. Great views.

I know some of the courses may not be a day trip from denver, but Sunlight just outside of Glenwood Springs is super fun. And Cross Creek near Gypsum is also amazing

Cool course! Reminds me of an amusement park in NC I used to go to as a kid called ghost town in the sky

This reminds me of a little course in Indiana, not he "mountain course" part but the crazy signage and OBs and whatnot. The course is called Cedar Grove, privately owned, shorter and so full of character. Unreal course man, if you are going to Idlewild, you guys should look it up and contact the owner and play a round. Really cool course.

Every one of your videos has birds in the background. Not familiar with CO and Rockies birds, but disc golf got me so much more interested in birding.

I definitely have to check out this course when I am in Colorado! You should come down and try some of the New Mexico mountain courses! Red River ski hill is over 10,000ft in elevation and beautiful!

I love that Bodanza both loves this course and then says he'd rather play any other mountain course than this one, haha. All the OB and weird penalties would probably have me steaming by the back 9.

I don’t know or have seen you play it yet but Prickly Pines is an awesome very well established mtn-ish course. It’s prob an hour or so south of Denver. Shorts. Longs and technicals. Would like to see your course review there.

Anthony have you tried the Infinite halo Mayas? They got some nice dome to them and the flight numbers in the halo plastic fly much more like a 11/5/-1/1.5 Flies like a beat in Wraith. Would love to see you try and throw one, could see it being a bomber hyzer flip disc for you.

This course is EXACTLY WHAT MAKES ME KEEP FALLING IN LOVE WITH DISC GOLF!!! The fact that they are all short holes and you can so easily ride your score up. Too much of this throwing 500 ft in an open field stuff or playing on ball course... boring. Give me the European wooded course and for recreational I think a mixture of 200 ft shots with ob and tight lines mixed with no more than up to 400-450 ft is plenty good enough for us. For some the 450 might even be a par 4 if we are honest.. So I am absolutely loving this course and hope you play it again on camera!
@JaredTG.6 ай бұрын
Yea this course is more friendly to us normal people. It's good to have both though, long open courses and short wooded courses and everything in between. I love going to my local wide open course that's basically in a giant mile and a half long field every so often to see if I've added distance or if any what new discs I have do when I really power up on them.
