always buy 3 boxes of bleach, dye...whatever. If you have some left, you can always use it next time. Just a suggestion... If you want to use foils- practice first with a hair mask or thick conditioner. So, you will be better prepared and faster applying the real bleach. Foiling your own hair is difficult.

@NYandAZ2 жыл бұрын
@@tinacollins9213 everyone has different hair. He could not possibly give you that professional advice without you looking at him in person. Ask a professional - everyone knows someone that does hair - and see what’s best for you. It’s not always the bleach that’s the problem, it’s the level of your regular hair and then the volume of the developer that you use, then the toner. There’s so many steps that sight unseen would be grossly unprofessional to answer you. After you buy all of the initial products, it’s nearly the same cost as going to a salon. That’s my advice. Have you ever seen one good hair video done at home? There’s a reason for that. Good luck. 🍀👍🏻

I was a difficult teen, always wanting to have different colors since 12. My mom is kind so she would always bring me to the hairdresser or even let me buy bleach to do my mistakes at home. I ended up with chicken yellow, with brassyness, lot and lot of damage and short (like a boy) hair because it was simply tired of my mistakes. I hated myself and that’s why I wanted to change myself every month. It was my biggest mistake and it lasted like 6 years. PLEASE don’t do that to yourself. Now a part of my scalp still feels painful sometimes, it’s fragile. And I have hair missing. My 2022 resolution is to stop touching (dying, cutting, bleaching) my hair and just love them naturally.

@TheKimberlydw Um i think your comment was a little over board and you read waaaay to into the comment.. The first half of your comment yes this girl said.. But from the part "With that logic we all hate ourselves..." And every single thing you said after that the girl did not say at all! You twisted every thing she said around and made it into a really horrible comment and making it seem like she was saying everyone thought like that about themselves and whatever else you said.. All she was doing was talking about her and her experience.. No one else.. You just made all that up.. For example like the part about her thinking so negatively about hair stylists? What?? She said absolutely nothing about other hair stylist.. So idk where you came up with that lol there was plenty of other things you said that she never even mentioned so idk why you just made stuff up.. Her comment wasn't bad at all but the things you said made her comment sound horrendous.. No clue why you did it.. Definitely wasn't needed at all!

I think what most people don't understand is that after bleaching you need to colour infill, tone, and sometimes gloss. At the very least an appropriate toner. Which adds up money wise. Or if you live in certain countries you can't get toner so your stuck using tube or box dye. E.g. Australia has restrictions on toner, dye and gloss. So you need to be a hairdresser to have access to trade services to purchase all the products. Otherwise its really hard to find online.

Oh H.B. if you weren't there I wouldn't know how. I started following you here from Italy during the lockdown, when I had a craving to bleach my hair sorry, up to the blonde and then see it become hard and break and begin to fall out. I cut my hair, one climbed by eliminating the most damaged meadows and colored dark brown after having gone from red. My hair is now brown and has a nice warm highlight, but not red. I am losing them because I got sick, I have to remove the thyroid and every time I wash my hair they fall out in strands, am I am not bald I have a lot of hair and it has thinned. Anyway, I follow you on every video, I am a former hair stylist, now I work in telecommunications and due to the emergency I now work at home and while I work very often I see your videos that keep me company! Thanks for your videos, for your irony for the way you teach and explain the procedures that I am very passionate about. For now I will not do anything about me, now the hair just has to grow and when it will be long I will fix the cut and keep it brown. (I'm 50 and have a lot of white hair) I've seen you have Marshall amps, do you play electric guitar or bass? A hug from Italy! Paola

do you need to use a toner if you like the way your hair looks with just the purple shampoo? it really works for me but does it do something healthy to have the toner on like close the cuticle or some technical thing? I've only done my roots twice after hairdresser removed mahogany box dye after 2" mostly white and some grey grow out. The purple shampoo makes the white look silvery and the grey streaks too and then I use a purple mask. People tell me every time I go do errands that they love my hair, which is so fun at 79!!!

If I'm ever nuts enough to want to bleach my hair again, or anyone asks me to bleach theirs (people do ask) I'm going to get two tubs of bleach (or big things of cream bleach) and at at least enough 20 volume to make up a tub and a half of it. And foils and a comb with a needle-like handle for sectioning. And two more timers (I have two, but I know I'm just not all that fast) I think wait to see how it goes after one or two rounds and then choose a toner that will work with whatever level it is.
