As a black man I firmly believe this nonsense needs to stop. My father taught me that it's the duty of the strong to defend the weak. Am I saddened that another young black man lost his life, yes. That said he threatened those around him, and exclaimed he was ready to die. In that situation in the defense of others I think it reasonable to call that self defense.
