Listened to their new album many times now, its incredible, sucks you into their story and brings emotions out from everywhere, another masterpiece, the most underrated band on earth 30+ years and they get very little air time, too much truth for the masses.

Still haven't managed to sit down with the record, but that's very true Graeme. Especially anything they did between Boxer and Sleep Well Beast is truly wonderful

@@akaalexanderking Fake Empire sums it all up today and England is about the Nephalons from the bible, they were the fallen angels, famous Angels never come from England he sings, England=Angel Land, there's more to The National than most people see, incredible band.

❤ The National just wrapped up their US tour. A total hit. I saw them in Albuquerque NM on 11/14/23. The show was flawless, sound was great, band and Matt were in their prime. Now they go to Australia then back to Europe in the spring.

I also was so drawn to that guitar tone. I sometimes wish the guitarist would rip into to a little more. I feel like they hold back so much, but it keeps you wanting more and more. I’m a fan since Alligator and this is such a great tune. Epic band
