This here is the live version that everyone's talking about. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5q1g6aHjs6DfLs It's from the same JYP showcase in 2017, where "Girls 2TEAM" and "Boys' Project Team" competed to become the next JYP group to debut. BPT were picked, and soon became Stray Kids. But their opponents haven't just drifted off into the aether. Five of the seven members, you might already know... Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna went on to become 4/5 of Itzy, while some time later, Mashiro debuted in Kep1er. That "dripping" sample has been used in quite a few tracks, I believe; the ones I'm most familiar with are this, and (G)I-DLE's $$$/Dollar, from their first EP, where they used a slightly different bit of the same sample. There was a lot of kerfuffle about plagiarism from fans, as there was bound to be, but no. I don't know the full details, but they evidently both downloaded the sample (probably from one of the subscription sites like Splice, or something), and used them for their own completely different projects. That 30 songs in 6 months isn't even an exaggeration. in 2017 alone, they released 3 mixtape albums on SoundCloud and KZbin, _each_ with 7-8 tracks, not counting all the "B-sides" that they didn't _officially_ release (I think a lot of them included copyrighted samples, so they wouldn't have been able to release them commercially). _And_ in the second half of the year, they were also filming their Stray Kids survival show, during which they wrote 7 other brand new tracks, which would be released on their pre-debut Mixtape EP at the beginning of 2018. There's probably also others that we didn't even know about the time; they recently estimated they've probably got about 200 songs completed that they're not releasing yet.
