The blossom end rot is caused by lack of calcium in the soil but mostly it's due to not watering regularly. When you water regularly, the calcium can in a form can easily be absorbed by the plant roots.

Pastor, look into harvesting rain off your roof and store to water your plants. Use your chicken manure, néem leaves and wood ash.
