The year of return was only just 4/5 years ago. Playing the dozens was a way to deal with the racial intolerance. Almost every AA kid was cut down at some point. I am sorry you were scarred as a kid by the insults. When I came to Kumasi, I was laughed at for my poor twi and lack thereof, but overall my Ghanaian brothers and sisters were very kind and welcoming. Some prodding often comes with being different. @samwaldorf87774 ай бұрын
considering it, and 99% of the food there is derived from portuguese euopeans, their imports and tastes, i'd say you're a bit late to the party. the europeans had access to all of the ingredients, spices, peppers, tomatoes, styles of cooking(smoking fish), using dried and cured shrimp and fish to add as an ingredient(first garum thousands of years ago), now mostly anchovy paste, and the combinations they prefer of the imports. the portuguese spread their particular tastes to the places they went, which is why you may find similar foods in the philipines, africa and south america, when it comes to preparation and flavors used; such as "adobo". the spanish, close to the portuguese, like their paella(like jollof), the italians like their tomato sauces and pasta(from ancient greece), but the further north you go into europe the climate changes and so does the variety of produce you can cultivate durring the growing season. the further north you go, the more smoked fish, cheeses and root vegetables you'll see due to the harsher and longer winters. further south toward the mediterranean, you see fresher summer ingredients; like fresh herbs, olives, tomatoes, grapes and such. however, the europeans were the first to have access to the widest variety of food "ingredients", and more or less settled on their cuisine by what determines their agricultural seasons. this is why they still import tons of fruits and nuts(among other things) rather than grow them; they cant. the climate doesnt allow for it.

@JulieThomps89 Yes, we watched the same thing. I will tell you why they act that way, they won't put a hand on you but they know many whites travel to Africa, take the worse part and degrade them. Ghanaians affect camera friendly in markets, sea side or ghettos. Many think you don't come there with good intentions. Overtime, every action has consequences.

5:00 I'm half Fanti and half Black American. I really appreciate seeing the food and culture of my people being well represented since I haven't had too much exposure

It's really refreshing and interesting to see people who are no BS and won't take any of Sonny's antics. A good mix of content! Please keep showing the unfiltered content.

Lol Sonny didn’t have to fight Tati was going to handle it . But another experience to go down as being a content creator . It’s unfortunate that happened. But nothing like a little controversy to show real experiences which you are all about! Good On Ya . And I love this Ghanaian series! Lol they came back because they knew you tried the jollof in Nigeria lol
