Hey I think I disagree about your points on Kyrie not being as controversial in 2019 when KD joined Brooklyn. He had already massively estranged himself in Boston with the other players. Including that time he like called Lebron and said “I can’t win with how immature tatum and brown are.” Followed by the next playoffs straight up sucking against the bucks in a series I’ve heard no one talk about with him ever. The evidence of Kyrie being sus and kind of a bad teammate has existed all the way back since cleveland but until recently you’d just get called a hater if you point any of that out so no one really talked about it

On the trade request, the only thing missing is, “assuming what KD said in the article is accurate/honest/tells the full story”… we shouldn’t forget that this gentleman has often had a somewhat strained relationship with facts, as your video highlights on the leadership question. I am not saying either way whether we should take KD at his word (e.g. before hearing Nash’s version of events, which of course may never happen)… it just seems to me a fairly obvious proviso, that’s all.

But what I got from that was that he was speaking about the lineup that played against Sacramento (not the usual starters) and saying people only expect this team to win because KD is in it. KD asked the front office to get Deandre Jordan which mean there were no more room for Allen. KD and Kyrie asked the front office to get Steve Nach which he knew was not going to push him because "we don't need a coach". Oh, now you tell me you do need a coach. The ones You should call out are Kyrie and Ben Simmons not the other guys. The Brooklyn nets have the third highest payroll behind Golden state and The Clippers. What do you want them to do? The owner is paying a fortune for a shitty service and you want him to pay more? If you want to be able to change team if you are not happy then DO NOT sign a 4 years deal. Do what Lebron did when he came back to cleveland, sign one year deals and leave when you want. You don't get to demand that your coach be fired when you wanted him, you don't get to demand your GM to be fired when he did everything you asked. You don't get to demand a trade when you sign a 4 year deal because you would expect the nets to honor that deal in case you sucked or got injured but you don't want to honor that deal when the front office suck (because of you). So yes, he deserve the backlash he gets from the media.

Two things. One: you are Kevin freaking Durant, I think it is a reasonable expectation from us fans to think you can elevate a team to at least be competitive, even with a depleted roster.
