My sister is trans and autistic, someone caused her to have an autistic meltdown because of what they said, they said : imagine being so mentally unstable you thought you were girl even though you're obviously a boy. They then proceeded to laugh at her as she sat on the floor crying and grabbing at her arms to stimulate herself (trying to avoid crying as it gives too much stimulation when she does because of how many things she feels when crying) She's never gone to another shop without wearing a mask, gloves and skirt ever since

To hopefully explain to the best of my extent what this person means (sorry if I get it wrong), they're afraid of their dad not accepting them. Because of, perhaps, hearing of his views, or little things in the past, or just plain fear due to hearing other's stories about lack of acceptance this person is scared to come out. Even if their dad doesn't know about their gender identity yet, it still might hurt to be called a girl..it was that way for me too.

So I corrected him and he wouldn't stop calling me she or he and he was poking fun at me and bullying me and I clearly stated my boundaries. He didn't respect them at all. Funny story. I was at a wedding handing out little goodie bags because they let me. One middle-aged man, apparently the groom’s friend’s dad, they said “Thank you ma’am!” The dysphoria hit me like a train wreck. I was in a suit, and my hair was short. My eyes widened and I didn’t give out the rest, but my mom did. Thanks mom. ❤

Something really commonly dysphoric to me is when my mom drags my butt into the “women’s” clothes section. Had a similar experience at work. Was working on picking up weeds in the parking lot, and a nice lady came to help. She called me a "she" despite me looking fairly masculine/androgynous. I'm a mom. And I'm also a daughter. I grew up with conditional love. And I swore I would have no conditions for my children to have my love. Our child was amab. But if my child comes to me some day and says "I don't want to be a boy" my answer will be "and I still love you. You are my child before anything else. Before your gender, your sex, your romantic or lack there of attraction. You are my child. And I am your mom. Nothing will change my love. And I mean nothing " If you cannot love your child because of their authentic self, do not have children. And withholding love isn't love. Abandoning your child isn't love. Shaming them isn't love. They are not property. They are not extensions of you. They are their own whole self. We as parents are there to help them discover who they are. Do not teach them they are unwanted. There is no reason to hate them so much and there is def no reason to take them off this earth too early. +BEING attracted to the same gender isn't haram but COMMITTING to it is. You're allowed to feel like you're the opposite gender (after all , you're not your body) BUT you're not aloud to modify your body or change pronouns. This life is just a test. There will be no rules in Jannah you can literally do anything there! You're supposed to trust god for this life then completely do what you want in Jannah. I don't support committing to it on this dunya , bc that's breaking Allah's rules. It's just like any other haram thing , you don't support the doing of haram , but you don't go out of your way to take the pork sandwich out of some non-muslim's hand and through it on the floor , then spit on them. You don't go out of your way to kill someone for eating a pork sandwich. They had their whole life a head of them and had a chance to repent and change their mind that you took away from them. Imagine how angry that would make Allah. The only ever sin that the punishment for in islam is to die : is rape. Nothing else that I'm aware of. *sorry for the 3 thousand word essay*

But I don't understand why people think that their more than one person by using they/them pronouns. It's silly do you think that your worth more than me or what (I know that it means that it a boy and a girl and this is why I don't think it is necessary). I don't agree. Use the one on your birth certificate and stay with it. I don't understand why people have to be so crazy about this subject.

Gosh, is it ok if I vent? (scroll down to see my rant, or not.) So, I remember there was this time when I told my mom I was a lesbian, I thought she’d me ok with it, and since she was a nice person I thought she’d support me. But honestly, I do think I was too young to make that choice. I’m still thinking about it to this day. I was just 7. And I didn’t go to school since I was homeschooled, so my mom asked me, ‘why now? You don’t even see females your age, is it those friends of (…)?!’ She started raising her voice at me, and this (…) person, I don’t want to name her, she’s my cousin. And that time, I was recently added to their GC. They were older than me by 3 years, almost all of them. One was my age. Which was the one I caught feelings for. I’ve seen them in real life before I was added to the GC since they were a friend of a friend. At that time I think I was peer pressured to be a lesbian, to like girls. But then I realized, I wasn’t peer pressured. I just wanted attention. But at the same time I kinda felt bad. I was grounded for 2 months, and I lost the trust from my parents just because I told them I liked girls? Sure, I wasn’t into girls that time.. but really? That day was the first time I have ever seen my dad cry. I thought I did something wrong. That I was something wrong. But eventually I came to realize that I don’t like JUST girls. I like both genders. A few days ago my parents talked to me about trans people, since (…), my cousin, was trans. Nearing the end of the conversation my dad said “So we won’t accept it if youre-“ he got cut off from my mom, “Lesbian?” My mom asked. My dad continued with his sentence, the following thing he said was ‘No, trans.’ Which makes me even more afraid to tell them. And I don’t plan on telling them any time soon. Now I have a girlfriend I really like and respect, +I’m 15 and turning 16 in a month. If you read this, ty! :)
