If they give slash dash an innate 10 or 20% crit chance, combining that with allowing arcanes and acolyte mods on exalted blade would still allow it to achieve what it can do now with a ceramic dagger. But having it locked at 0% crit rate is terrible.

@fetzidetzi It does and it doesn't already. If you have Exalted Blade active, it's the statstick for Dlash Dash. If you don't, it's your regular melee.

i think the feature is meant to be exclusively when you're in a party already and have 1 or 2 random people fill in, in situations like that if you're done doing something you'd need to leave party and reinvite your friend if you're doing public alone then you should remain as a team but if you're playing with friends then i dont see why you're that eager to remain in a group with randos that can force start missions and such when you're there to play with a friend or 2. Also inviting people from recently played with in the group is less tedious than reforming your party numerous times because randos don't leave the group or start a mission you didn't want to start

It's a start but I'm wondering on how to give a fuller picture for gauging effectiveness of all abilities. Like what other metrics do you use to help objectively assess how much people use abilities like chroma effigy or Ash teleport in confidence. Just helminth alone sounds like a very unnuanced set of data to go off of.

Well since they did reworks for all companions and like 8 frames last year alone, we can expect a lot more in the future in terms of that. It's not going to be what you've eluded to in your comment, but reworking two or three frames at a time will slowly but surely also rework abilities that just kind of do nothing. Reworking a multitude of certain abilities all at once is simply not possible due to the fact that they have to keep the rest of the frame's kit in mind when changing an ability and there's just way too many of them to do it in just one big rework.

I agree, but tech-wise they better rework a whole frame. More frames recoded at the same time means more testing for bugs. At least I assume so. For those abilities DE could make their augments basekit and create a new one. They teased this for a while, but i never noticed them going through with that. For some frames it's okay to have a lacking ability, i think. Do you really need Mesa's 1 to do 1KK damage? As a Nezha main i forget to use his 2, but when i do - it shreds. Loki should get help though.

@@redfiend8746 Honestly my money is on Saryn. We got an enemy that has weapons that drip a green corrosive goo and deals corrosive and gas damage. Saryn might not do gas but she does corrosive, toxic and viral damage and spores/miasma color is a similiar green. They also said there is gonna be a story portion involving the new protoframes so it would be within reason that Proto Saryn is being forced to make the corrosive element for the scaldra weapons and needs a rescue.

@BaeBunni By that logic it could be quite a few frames. Maybe Wall-E, in the form of Rusalka, used Entrati's knowledge to create a set of protoframes to hedge it's bets against the Hex. If it's something like that, it could be a lot of different frames. Banshee to Silence/neutralize Eleanor, Mesa to Gun down Arthur, Ash/Loki to assassinate Lettie, even Qorvex to tank shots from Quincy or Gauss to have a speedster to rival Amir.

If the element swapper is a permanent upgrade I might take the time to farm them out for my whole collection of lich, sister, and coda weapons just to future proof my arsenal. Seeing certain weapons high in usage, like the Grimoire, Nataruk and Broken War, makes me happy as I interpret that, as the game continuing to have a fresh influx of new players making steady progression, even as far as Whispers in the War. Ditto certain PA Warframes and weapons seeming to do well, and hearing that Ember Heirloom sold especially well, as far as the monetisation health of the game. Devstream was one of my favourites, it was jam packed. The only thing I wish we got conformation of, or news around, is Fissures for 1999 content, and Omnia Fissure for Disruption (Sanctum Anatomica Disruption). I think the new Endless Capture would be great as an Omnia Fissure, same with the Hellscrub missions being endless and all. Thanks for the recap!

Chromatic blade builds that use Wrathful advance already dump the Exalted umbra slots. I think they said Slash Dash is going to use exalted blade as it's stat stick, so it might be better to keep the umbra slots on. Exalted blade has base 15% crit, and Galv steel boosts crit damage with stacks, not crit chance.

Incarnon adapters are unlocked from a special steel path game mode. They charge from the weapon's regular fire(usually from headshots, combo counter for melees) and for guns, they completely change how the gun functions. Torid goes from toxin grenades to a chaining beam weapon with high crit and high status.

I think Gyre already has her niche. She's the best nuker for endless fissures (a pretty prominent and relevant game type), as she can snapshot BOTH the double strength AND double range fissure effect on both her 3 and 4 with her augment. She basically gets old World On Fire but strong enough to kill base steel path enemies, unlimited energy, and a huge crit buff. Slap pillage on her to make her tanky too and she's pretty exceptional.

25:40 The biggest problem with the Glast shop is the farm to get ONE WEAPON. Let alone max that weapon's elemental bonus. If the farm per weapon isn't long then this system shouldn't be TOO bad. Also, they should change the Corrupted Holokeys so that you are guaranteed 10 per sister instead of 1 so you don't have to farm TEN SISTERS to get enough for one weapon and make them a separate 100% drop for void storms. That would make the farm for those weapons at least the same as the progenitor system.

Fantastic quality of life changes & the new lock system looks to be a refreshing change from the existing two. My only gripe is the ‘Ergo-glast-style’ store which limits you to picking up a weapon with a random element only. Yes can switch element at level 40, but until now I have (LR1) never levelled a lich weapon to 40, so being forced to spend 5 forma plus a rare drop just to make a weapon serviceable (in some cases where a single element progenitor can really mess things up) seems like a pretty poor experience for anyone who isn’t grinding out mastery.

Soooo no overguard changes. Protector ancients killed combo farms for me (farming fissures not only for prime parts and traces/sp essence, but also for regional resources) because Khora, Atlas, Ivara, Hydroid can't affect drops from overguarded enemies, they also can spawn as eximus, making them eximus^2. They are also so common you can see two of them in a room at all time. And they can cast overguard even if they hard CCed by Ensnare or Petrify. Every time I do endurance and see nullifier and protector (especially if guardian eximus shows up) I imagine I try to run and DE jumps out and smack me in the knees with a baseball bat.

I had farmed these arcanes to DEATH and was happy to be done. Now my final regret can be solved. Awesome.

im really hoping that they do good with the changes to psudo exalted weapons, currently my atlas is doing a ton of damage and I'm really happy with him but the changes that may come are litterly going to either make him better/similar to how he is now, or he is going to get dumpstered. I would imagine that they will be changing some stats but atlas' punch having a 5% critical chance is just not ok. they should bring it up to 35% crit chance and double its base damage ideally to just REPLICATE what it would get from ceramic dagger incarnon buffs, they also should 1000% make the psudo exalted weapons have their own combo count they build up or at the very least use your melee weapons combo count as not being able to use bloodrush or weeping wounds or the gladiator set buff will drop crit chance from that alone by 550%

I noticed that the yearly usage did not include Xaku Prime or Excalibur Umbra. I don't know if that's just an omission, or if somehow the data they collected didn't actually include those in the usage for some reason. (Also none of the weapons/warframes form 1999, but I don't have a problem with that since those usage numbers would be essentially meaningless.)

yeah overall exited with what was showed off, slight consern for psudo exaulteds because some of the base stats on those kinda suck without incarnon statsticks like landslides terrible crit but i got faith in them to if not get it right in the workshop to at very least hear feed back and get it fixed.

I can't wait to no longer be able to red crit with Khora's whipclaw or crit at all with atlas punches due to no flat crit/status bonuses from incarnons. They either buff the shit out of the weapons so they one shot enemies all the way up to steel path without mods (to bring them to the level they are now with them) or they add special mods to add flat crit and status bonuses.

The exalted reworks are the only thing I’m actively dreading with these new features.
