Support nerf idea. Remove the "fast revive". So its back to normal, they still have the healing on revive but it isnt as quick, giving you a slightly better chance at finishing knocked enemies. This also makes Gibby's dome revive the "fast" revive back. As it is currently, the revives inside the dome and outside is the same, but with the nerf his dome revive would actually have a purpose as its the only way to get fast revive. Also, remove the move fast while healing perk. Double health gain makes sense since support characters can then share larger heals for their team which is a nice buff. Mobile respawn beacon buff remains, that buff is soo nice.

Support legends deserve to have their time to shine, I'd keep the gold armour heal and movement while healing. Remove the lifeline drone heal from support res, make gibby bubble, Newcastle shield, and lifeline shield to be destroyed again by maggie ball and crypto EMP. I'd also consider increasing the seer cancelation tac as well. Not to cancel ressing but to cancel abilities, right now it's too easy to avoid, especially with map rotation being the open maps.

@@DevinHeida well, id say give support legends the fresh start perk, (revived legends get 50hp) in that case and keep the fast revive. Maggie ball destroying Gibby bubble made no sense in the sense that the bubble is "unbreakable". I always found it so weird that the mobile shield which was breakable, didnt break from the maggie ball. Crypto EMP made more sense but in all honesty, i would give Cryptos EMP a silence instead for like 15 seconds or something and then remove the dmg to shields. This way it removes traps, pylons and other placeables that normaly breaks AND keeps the enemies from just replacing everything.

Respawn is so damn dumb, this is the worst metta in a long time. You knock someone and by the time you get there they have full health. Give Maggie's abilities back to where they always were, have Crypto be able to destroy bubbles and lifeline's ultimate and tactical because that makes sense. Then the metta will be fine.

The Gold knockdown was the most minor part of the problem. It's that they've sat and spitballed ideas for Legend changes and buffed an already powerful support legend (Newcastle) and created another shield legend (Lifeline rev.) whilst giving the ability to be full health and shield 3s after getting up. Combined with the fact that they chose to give a Mobile Respawn every time you craft teammates banners makes games feel like they now take an age to play, purely because you'll drop 2/3 people in any squad, and then 0.5s later, their support went to the replicator that was 50m away and hot-drop revived their other two players.

Since they’ve buffed support class, I’d love to see assault class buffs or even universal buffs for everyone except support class. That way, those of us who don’t main a support character can do more damage to them to compensate the extra health/knock benefits they get. Obv, the extra damage done shouldn’t cancel out the buff but a slight increase should help. Like for example I main ash (I just like playing with her) and I would love for my snare to get a buff..maybe more damage or a bigger radius. Nothing too crazy, but has a chance of giving me the upper hand sooner.

As a newcastle main before he was buff i started playing him bout season 17,i'm a og player with over 6,200 hours,52k lifetime kills & played every season i admit i love my main newcastle getting buffs but he does need a nerf since they did overdo him with the 5 buffs, i just hope they don't overdo it on nerfs or hell nerf things of his kit that didn't need a nerf not the first time respawn has done that,lifeline does need a nerf on her passive hand free revive like it's annoying to constaly down her teammates fair & square but she can just constantly tap them without a cool down like they could add a 6-8 sec cd per teammate and mabye i could be wrong if this is how her passive worked, when they first gave her the hands free revive but make it where she can only revive 1 teammate hands free at a time but i could be wrong,overall im happy newcastle is getting love but hate even though it's the meta but alot of bad players are jumping on him only because he is op, i put a lot of time learning him before he was buffed atm i'm almost at 16k kills my old mains before him was lifeline,octain and valk i still play octain & valk but i put alote more time on him. Saw this coming honestly. They made support legends stupidly op for hardly any reason. They made the already good legends even more broken, like Newcastle with the ability to walk jog-speed while reviving teammates or letting all support legends have a gold shield as a passive, or ALREADY HEALING SOMEONE WHO GOT REZZED, and have made all the other classes with nothing but dry perks. This is so dumb. Why only buff an entire support class instead of controller’s, too, or recon for that matter? Respawn just sucks as a studio and EA is making it worse by adding these dumbass cosmetics and universal heirlooms instead of actually BALANCING THE GAME WHILST STILL MAKING IT ENJOYABLE TO PLAY.

A great way to nerf support is that if thry pick the gold knockdown up the hp regen is cancelled out completely. Easy fix that way knockdown stays on top. Plus nerf castles sheild for purple and blue. LL is balanced imo

In my shooter career I have never seen a game bugged or nerfed except in Apex Legends.... Let's be honest, this game was nerfed or buffed to pieces... I have never in my almost 29 years of playing shooter games seen a game ruined like this, the main thing is that the dollars are right, the makers don't care about anything else.... I will finish my battle pass and then I will think that that is it for this game.... I just feel sorry for the people who have put so much money into it. As long as you buy these horrible skins or weapon skins nothing will change, the servers run terribly, then there are the cheaters, they are increasing in number... and then there are these sound problems since Season 4.... EA and Respawn don't care about the players.... They only care about how you can ruin a game permanently and make loads of money in the process.

crypto and maggie can still in fact counter gibby-lifeline-newcastle. lets also not forget despite maggie can destroy their shield however her drill is still capable of doin some major damage tot he enemy team behind shield/cover. let alone the method used against rampart mains hiding behind their amp shields by simply throwing nades or any projectile over the shield i find it funny how players in apex really hate the counter mechanics in the game thinking that it ruins the game for em all together when in actuality they are being force to play differently n which should have been the most obvious playing a real battle royale its so much more fun to have everyone capable of countering everyone as it forces even myself a crypto main to play differently and think of a strat.
