@Zalied2 жыл бұрын
Wirtual is pretty good consistently able to be in div 1. But he doesn't specialize as much as some of the other top players so while he has the chance to win he tends to be the underdog. He's not bad and saying underdog is a bit of an underestimating of his skill he's definitely a top player. As the video states. He never got first until the last round meaning if any other round was the last round he would have lost. He wasn't the beat player but he was consistent and good enough (again saying good enough feels like understanding his skill)
@holyhandgrenade52 жыл бұрын

@cboniefbr2 жыл бұрын
I don't really watch any eSports, asides from trackmania I guess. There's just something about the track and the car making its way that fascinates me
@gigitrix2 жыл бұрын
It's because it's so accessible I think. Other games have complex rules and things that the viewer must know as a prerequisite. In trackmania the skill ceiling is still there for players with all the tricks like the precise speedslide angles mentioned, but it's way more captivating as a viewer because "car go faster" is all you need to be equipped with to engage with the content
@liamlifts2 жыл бұрын
@@gigitrix thats exactly what I was thinking. Wirtual really plays into that idea of accessibility by taking 2-3 minutes at the beginning of this video to explain mechanics and divisions before getting into it. He never really does that in his other videos, at least for so long and with a voiceover. He is definitely trying to allow this video to be seen and understood by a wider audience since he feels this one has a greater chance of success because he actually won. It's a good strategy, and it clearly worked based on the original comment here.
@xxcsokixx2 жыл бұрын
@@liamlifts What you mentioned about the wider audience is exactly what we need in game communities. This allows new players to come in and keep games fresh. @richardhanck9722 жыл бұрын
Like you mentioned, in a format like this, consistency is key. Being able to be exactly on point in every run is better than getting top marks in one or two runs, and not being able to repeat it. I had never heard about TrackMania before this channel last night, and now I'm like 10 videos deep & it's the first thing i wanted to explore this morning.

How many of these "I'll never win.....and I won" are we going to see? Its time he accepts his skill.

I don't know who you are, I don't know the game, I already knew how this was going to end because of the title and the thumbnail and still this was very exciting to watch. Congratulations!

I'm glad that even though you didn't ask you still lost the tournament, I respect that. EDIT: what the fuck, why you betray me at end.

Congrats in the way of your thoughts & thinking, a beauty vibe feeling, it´s like if the worlds stops, but yours is all live & ALIVE! :) Cheers for a great episode of vid edit as well. BR AN.
This video has resumed all race movies. An underdog dude facing the elite. A champion that everyone think is going to win easly, loose understimaiting the underdog will to prove himself. Best race movie ever

I love how I’ll probably never play this game and don’t really like time trial stuff but I always enjoy your videos and you somehow get me to care about this game lol
