I with the mods on this one second leaderboard just for low imput runs is the right call, all tho it will be really hard to check if its legit or not, mby the camera facing the monitor and keyboard along side additional information should be the requirement for the run to be accepted

I dont play but imo they should split the records cuz of the brute forcing the solution with a program instead of figuring something out themselves but if they do that then imo there should also be a "bug free" leaderboard where you follow the intended path.

All they had to do was create a tunnel. Or have the game have invisible but very frequent checkpoints. Basically above each track piece you have a checkpoint you must pass. Gotta be a better way for proper track etiquette.

Claiming LIS isn't cheating is like tryna claim you didn't cheat an exam because whilst you brung in a cheat sheet, you still had to write the answers down on the paper. Its just paint by numbers records. Sure its quicker but using AI to find the perfect LIS run then just replicating it in game should be considered tool assisted, or at the very least a mkddle ground between standard runs and full TAS. Definitely shouldn't be on the main leaderboard though. Like it isn't really comparable to finding in game bugs when you're bringing in basically a list of commands, same as TAS, only your making the inputs not the tool. I say this as someone with 0 skin in the game btw, I'm not an experienced player fighting for records, I just value competitive integrity.
