Irene Iron Travels had the Topper done to their rig a few months ago and they are very happy. I talked to the guys at the FMCA rally back in Perry Georgia and was very impressed with them. It can be done in Oregon, Mississippi, or Florida as I understand it. Irene Iron showed the installation process on theirs too and as you showed, they are very professional.

Great episode! (Confession: I ended up watching it TWICE. The first time because my husband was busy and I couldn't wait to see it; the second time I watched it with him). Watching David back the Spacecraft into that limited space brings me back to several years ago when my Dave had to let a little air out of the tires just so that our RV could fit into the garage. I always had to watch and guide him because of the air conditioner on top! You see, many years ago,we built a new garage and they poured the foundation wrong! We had no intention of fitting the RV into it; it's 38 ft! Well, once the mistake had been made, we ended up with a much taller garage than anticipated (so much so, that our nephew nicknamed it "the garage-mahal" 😂). Well, my Dave did some measuring and realized that yes, it would indeed FIT into the garage. So every time we come home from a trip, I'm tasked with helping him back it in. It's still a tight fit getting it through the garage door...but thankfully we replaced the air conditioner with another unit and now we don't have to think about it. Those were scary times; I can relate! Have a great week 😊
@bigtruckbigtravels5 ай бұрын
Thanks, Joan. It was a very tight fit. Actually, tighter than we were told it would be. I love the "garage-mahal"! That's funny.

You do not need to worry about leaks, unless they cause your vehicle's engine to knock. That is when you need to turn up the volume on your radio or CD player. I recommend something with strong drumbeats, like James Brown (who started the tradition of 3 percussionists during his concerts) or Michael Jackson with his overwhelming rhythmic drum blasts. Eventually you will not notice your engine noises and shortly thereafter they will cease completely! Like magic!

Welcome to Oregon. We are from So. Oregon. This was so fun to watch. It would have been fun to see u traveling down the road. We were camping at Lava Beds National Park and took in the caves, went to Lofton Reservoir boondocking, home, then up to Diamond Lake , ( fire close) so back between Union Creek and Prospect and dispersed camped at a beautiful area. Camp was great and no one around. Went up to Huckleberry Creek to a meadow and a doe wanted to come up to us. We wouldn't have let her get too close :). She laid down behind us behind a log. Fun videos and pictures. My husband was a wildlife biologist and this was fun. No water or hookups, no campers, quiet and an hour from Crater Lake. Lots of mountain roads with dispersed camping. We have a 24 foot trailer. We lived in Summer Lake, Oregon years ago. One daughter got married at Coburg, and u went by the little church where the outside ceremony was beautiful. Held our breath as u backed in. Be blessed, stay safe.

As a kid growing up in the Mohave desert we used to run or ride our bikes into dust devils all the time, some would push us around a little but never got one to lift us up!

@@jeffwindbigler4199 thanks for sharing that with us. I was wondering as well!

😆 🤣 Thanks. We didn't mean to crash into anything but were told there was plenty of room! Oh well... they did a good job.

You two are AMAZING! I have just discovered you both. I live in a sleepy village in Shropshire, England where the noisiest thing is the church bell! I absolutely love seeing the places you visit in your tiny (cough cough) RV! 🙀 I actually visited Oregon in 2017 when I went to the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. It’s a beautiful place, the biggest outdoors quilt show in the world. I went to Bend too. It’s a long story how I got there, involving Everest Base Camp (yep!) but as a reward in got to go to Oregon. I didn’t even know where it was and had to look it up on a map! I love maps and stickers but quilts. I am a quilter. Keep taking us on these adventures they are awesome! Best wishes from 🇬🇧

Thank you, Alison. My sister lives in Eugene but loved to visit England. Excited to have you along on the journey. Your visit to Oregon sounds like a good story... on how it happened!

Might be a good idea to acquire a separate solar setup that includes a power bank and a few solar panels to supply power for both Voyager and Orion, maybe even Curiousity. It may be overkill but better be prepared than not. May have a situation where the power issue may happen again. It’s actually on my list on Amazon for my magnitude. Might use up more power than what the 500w solar setup system (getting the Solar Package).

We're looking at additional solar for Curiosity and try to enhance our system on Orion.

@@bigtruckbigtravels check and see if the dealer could contact Thor to give you the additional solar panels and a solar controller. Although, if you get it off the bat when you get a quote online when you are building the Magnitude, i think it is free.

Nice video to watch again. But about those roundabouts. So you have to use your turn signal. When you go on it you actually turn left and turn on your left turn signal. As long as you turn left, your indicator will remain on. When you leave, indicate right. This way you communicate better with drivers who want to enter the roundabout. That is my advice as a Dutch driving instructor and is a rule in the Netherlands. It prevents misunderstandings and traffic can enter the roundabout earlier when you indicate that you are leaving. For the rest? Bring on those great videos. America is beautiful. And so are you.

That is very true and good advice which we will heed on all future roundabouts we encounter. Thank you. 😃

I just had idaho instant potatoes in a bag. Actually really good. Lu lv ur content, those true toppers, look like a better system because they cover the slide closed. Where normal slides leave an open gap. Cant wait one day to own my own hdt. I own a 72 bus converted into a totter home, to my 96 fithwheel camper. Look for campers with something colourfull on it. He wants to swing dance. 😂
