Hey Greg, I’ve been watching your videos with great interest. Not only do I appreciate your rides but also your thoughtful commentary about riding and life in general. I’m 81 years old, ride a Harley Panamerica, and have no plans to stop anytime soon. My feeling about life is that “if you quit you die.” I’m betting you feel the same. But I also have introduced a little bit of electric into my life. Last year I purchased an e-bike and have been using it a lot. I also share your passion for the long rides (but I’ve not done anything equalling your Alaska adventure). I’ve owned several Triumphs in the past and have my sights set on a Bonneville T-120 in the future. And, like you, I really enjoy an occasional cigar. So keep riding man! A young guy like you has many riding adventures yet to come. I’ll be right there with you as I enjoy your excellent videos and your positive view of life.

What a hoot! Recently, my wife and I were riding through Clemson (city) which is a few miles from the university. We were at a traffic light when we both commented on the number of students riding SCOOTERS! Looked like fun but not so sure of my balance at almost 69 y.o. Ned in SC

Very cool. I'm an old guy that's been riding my whole life. Ultimate embarrassment is getting injured on a 'toy' and have to suffer the humiliation of 'aren't you too old to be doing that'.

Hadn’t thought about e-scooters before. May pick up one for each of my kids in college.

I am definitely too old for a scooter, but I do ride mountain bikes and if I thought that I could get away with it, I'd get a Surron in a heartbeat!

Interesting info Craig. Think this would be great for in the city commute. Seems like a niche for all electric 2 wheels most places now days. I even have an electric Evo Grunt for in the country here. Thanks again for your content.

Interesting. I would be illegal to ride in the UK. Electric bicycles are limited to 15.5 mph (25 kph) in most of Europe. The assistance cuts out at that speed. And places where electric stand on scooters are allowed also limit the maximum speed - and don't allow them on pavements. Cycle paths are OK.
