It is just sad, that this individual has to attack ppl, because she feels as if she is above others and this idea that she is somehow a gatekeeper of facts, what are facts, the area she is in is Theoretical, just as so many sciences are? Also, who is she to claim what is FACTs about this area? It evolves, thoughts about the past are always ever changing, she is like these mainstream ppl that feel that you cant change things or their thoughts, because it challenges it and destroy it? Its like the attacks on Randal Carson and his thoughts, but he is more real about how he speaks and discusses things, it is not about being right or wrong it is about the journey, the understanding and the difficult approaches and thoughts, no matter if you agree or not with Randal Carson which i am using as an example.

I got into this many decades ago. Her reaction is that of someone who sees their own work undermining their career. She's spent a lifetime "proving" something academically and now her own work is proving something she doesn't "approve" of. That's what I love about science. Try to misuse it and it will just circle around and bite you where it counts.
@SeraphX2
@SeraphX2 Жыл бұрын
And that's because science isn't beholden to agendas, especially stuff like this where once you uncover it you can't hide it. It's like the JWST totally upending the model we had for galaxy formation. Scientists there aren't trying to vehemently deny it just to prop up their old models. They are saying "wow, we were wrong", accepting it, updating the models, and moving on. As any sort of scientist, discovering things like Atlantis should be monumental and the most exciting thing in your career if it were to happen. Yet, because she had to be "atheistic" about it (for absolutely no reason: what's there to gain by saying it 100% doesn't exist) instead of "agnostic" now she has no room to pivot without looking like a dumbass who is supposed to be an "expert".

So many findings and surprise discoveries have resulted from this in history and in all that OVER PRICED education these academics go through when literally they could read some books at the public library and go for a hike outside. I have been online since the early 90s, but never was I more rudely attacked online than when I mentioned to archeologists that the Roman dodecahedron was most likely a tool used for easier knitting of gloves (and sent evidence in form of videos of people using it today for that very purpose). Mentioning that early farmers didn't have much use for astronomical calendars as working the field is based weather patterns and the position of stars doesn't play a role in it, that was also hardcore.

A big problem is that even if she truly believed that there is a connection to the Richat and Atlantis, she could never say it because she would lose all funding and potentially her career. I remember in college shooting the shit with some of my history professors and they would tell me interesting things they were researching independently and that they can't go public with it yet or they could be laughed out of their profession. Not even major groundbreaking things but just ideas that buck the trend in their niche. Academia is majorly dogmatic and overdue for a huge change. I taught high school history for 6 years and one thing I always told my students was that nothing in history is set in stone. Everything is a best guess and anything I tell them could be proven wrong with new evidence tomorrow. I do believe that the new generation is far more open-minded when it comes to things like this. I was shocked at how many young people had heard of Gobekli Tepi, the Younger Dryas, etc. It is very encouraging.

Your point about history I like because I've always liked to ask people "how much of history do you think is complete BS?" Some people have a "what do you mean" response, but a lot of it is really just speculation based on evidence that's sprinkled through time, sometimes even centuries. If I'm not mistaken, isn't all we know about Ancient Rome based on only a few hundred sources? That's NOTHING if you think about it. So much is unknowable. Especially with any high degree of certainty and the further back you go. That's a mind fuck to me. I'll "trust the experts" for the most part, but there are definitely areas where no one knows shit and we rely on experts to fill in the blanks.

I’m honestly very concerned when I see so called “top experts” in certain fields of history and archeology dismissing things so absolutely. I didn’t even know that this happened so often until I found channels like yours. It’s scary that someone who considers themselves an academic would just dismiss things that we can’t possibly k ow for sure. This is a very scary problem because the average citizen (I believe) is generally told “we know just about everything now” and for the most part, they believe it. One thing that I have learned over the last several years is that while our society may have “advanced” a lot over the past several hundred years- but we (as a society) still do not FULLY understand most things. I can’t believe we have “academics” that actively push back against the expanding of knowledge and understanding. Anybody actively fighting against better understanding our past/history, is not helping - and the WEF connections certainly have me worried about her motives

It has been. They say it's an old volcano that has since collapsed in on itself and then worn away with erosion. Given that the Sahara goes the dry cycles (like we have now) and rainy cycles where it looks like the Amazon for 10,000 years, it's perfectly reasonable to see where the erosive forces would have come from. The volcanic core itself has been dated some number of millions of years ago (I don't remember perfectly so I won't attempt to quote a number). Search "geologic origin of Richat structure" for more.

Volcanic bubble formation where the top of the bubble worn away leaving only the lower side walls .. perfectly able to contain water when the sea was once close to the area as the sea shells and unfossilized whale skeletons etc nearby show...

@@kma3647 it being an old volcano does not detract from the possibility of it also being Atlantis. No one is claiming the structure is not naturally formed.

@@Mr-J... Not only that but according to Plato there used to be a hot water source at the center of Atlantis so it makes even more sense. Even today we build in geographically favorable places, we rarely remake the entire landscape just to live there.

I watched that episode a few years ago. I thought it was fascinating that she said these things in the show. Then after looking up her work, and her social media posts, I immediately thought something smelled funny. I went back and looked at your video again, then watched the episode, and I am CONVINCED they literally took all of their information from your channel, and the sources you referenced in that video, and gave credit to other sources. NatGeo is owned by Disney, and Disney has a vast history of doing this kind of stuff.

Thing is, Jimmy didn't find all of this. Pretty much of this information has been said before and Jimmy credits them as well. Many books from other freethinkers from the 90s and early 2000s are where these come from.

I remember someone who was an archeologist around 2004 mentioned the eye of the Sahara was the lost city of Atlantis, he said you could see the old piers in spots, a couple old deteriorating ships sticking out of the sands, and a few building structures, Plus out in the nearby ocean,, you could sea all the mud and sand that flowed into the Atlantic when Atlantis washed away,, He claimed to have gone there and witnessed these things first hand and he also had an extremely hard time surviving the area because of the heat and almost died on his trip, He released a video about it and the other arcologist fought him over it and shut him down, His videos was removed and his work disappeared, I didn't hear another work about it until you started posting videos about it, I feel like they robbed him of his discovery just because they found it to be unbelievable at the time, I'm glade to see you picking up where he left off, I'm not saying you knew anything about it but for some reason, the didn't want the population to know about it around 2004

I wouldn't be surprised if that same pattern has happened a half dozen times and kept getting swept under the rug. Hidden away from the public. Only with the advent of the Internet could knowledge travel faster than the censors could ever hope to contain it, so now we've finally seen the breakthrough to the public.

Has Sarah spoken on the carbon dating they've done at Gobekli Tepe?? I mean, it proves that civilisations were active either just after or before the younger dryas period. The carvings on the stones and the sheer size of the sight puts everything we think we know about civilisation into question.
