Well first always turn heater off before turning the key so it will not cause problems.

Yea for sure. It’s random too. Sometimes the heater works fine through the night.

Your Espar/wabasto heater is failing or faulty. Take it to shop next time you get through.

I had that problem called maint and my next hometime i parked in marshfield and they did an update and replaced a bunch of seals and didnt have any problems after that.
