I went to Atlantic City NJ from NY in 1985. I Just turned 21, so I could gamble. I lost my money but on the way back, I heard this song in my Walkman. The local stations between AC and NYC loved it too, they played it several times. Thank you Deejays, you made the trip worthwhile.

They were the first biracial group on Motown. Like this was deep right before Teena Marie left to start writing her own songs. Eh, Teena left for Elektra records and Rick James just stayed with Motown.
