I love how the artist made the three whiney mothers look like Cinderella's step-mother and step-sisters when Sei's mom - the famous super-model - showed up to put them in their place. 😂 I understand a little how Sei must have felt. At the boot camp for the US Navy, I had trouble with all the physical stuff: exercising, running, finding uniforms that fit, etc. You see, I've been fat my whole life. The only physical things that I could do well was the obstacle course (I could climb trees like a monkey since I was a kid) and swimming. Especially swimming. My dad was in the Navy, too, and the family moved around a lot. The places we lived were usually near either the ocean (Hawaii, California, South Carolina, etc.) or a lake. Our family vacations were at lakes, too (my dad loved fishing). So we were swimming all the time. So when it came time for the boot camp swimming test, I got kidded a lot by the other guys in my unit because of my difficulties with the other physical stuff. But because of all the practice I had growing up, I did better than everyone else in the swimming test. 🏊‍♂️ (Interestingly enough, my loudest detractors failed the test and had to have extra training on top of the regular stuff so that they could take the test again and pass.) Loving to swim, I wanted to spend more time in the pool, but since I passed, no more pool time for me. 😢

haven't seen this drawing style in the past 2 weeks from this clip called "My brother and his family moved into the neighborhood, but then…". and dexter comes back for the second time again after yesterday with rebecca. man, just 5 days ago from ayasaki-san, we had a moment where we got a mistaken for the fmc being a single mom but only to find out that's her nephew and the kid's REAL MOM shows up, making her the sister. this story felt too much like a year ago's clip on here called "Helped out a kid at a calligraphy class, but then… ". i find it disgusting that those 3 moms were willing to defame kanata for "picking favorites" like claiming to be sleeping with lulu (which by the way, she's not the single mom here). but lo and behold, riri shut them all up. and to make this even more crazier, ALL THOSE 3 were cheating on their husbands! good god, what a sick ironic twist i stepped into! it's a damn shame their kids are the mature ones here compared to them. why does lulu's name reminds me of this tv show called "the little lulu show" from 1995? 🤣🤣

The fate of all three evil moms: Mikako Masuzoe (the leader): As she said, she is now unable to sue for damages during her divorce proceeding, but it wasn't over. She now had to pay both damages and alimony to her now ex-husband and was forced to give away the custody of her kid. In addition, she couldn't get back at Sei's mother because another mom sued her for defamation of character, adding to her endlessly building up debt. Her parents disowned her and so did the rest of her family. She was also banned from entering the school grounds. Luckily, an uncle from the dad's side was now in charge of dropping him off and picking him up. As for Mikako, she's now forced to work multiple part time jobs because her parents were the ones who paid the debt from the court settlement while rapidly aging as she lived in poverty. Mana Yamakawa: As she said, she did lose everything. Her husband also took alimony and damages from her, though they settled for it out of court. Her parents and siblings all severed all ties with her. She now lives a life in poverty, working part time in a supermarket, where she's being yelled at by her superiors on a daily basis. Kanami Higashi: her husband, being a city councilman, came over to the school and apologized to the MC and Sei's mother and aunt. He then divorced his wife after the overwhelming evidence of her cheating and libel. Her parents found out and immediately cut ties with her. Fortunately, her now ex-husband was able to win the election, but she's unable to leech off his success. She was forced to work multiple part time jobs to pay back her parents, who were the ones who paid for the alimony and damages. She left the city once finished, never to be heard of again.

Tbh, I’d love it more if she actually sue her for defamation. They got off to easy & being annoying for like half of the story which makes it unpleasant. So to “make it up”, I think writers should’ve at least not letting her off too easy like that. Not even a single apology from the main female antagonist herself. Even the sister herself said she was let off too easy considering they came after her family.
