Metallica is just simply better. They’re commercially successful because they have better music. Metallica’s classics blue Megadeth’s out the water

Depends if you like comercial stuff. And to be "commercially successful" does not mean better music... just look at the charts today for instance... I love them both, but I chose Megadeth over Metallica. Metallica would not be Metallica without Kill ´m All album, search for mr Mustaine, he is in the credits of all songs in that album. They even used Mustaine´s solos.... Dave Mustaine is the composer and rhythm guitar in Megadeth, but he was the lead guitar in Metallica, that says a lot...

Love my Metallica! I’ve seen them live around 7 times over the years (last time was in 2018) and I’ve been a fan since about 1985! Still the best live or studio. The only albums I’m not fond of are the load and reload ones. Their last two (death magnetic and hardwired ) to me are just as good as the first 5 especially hardwired and I’m dying to see what they come out with next! They sound so good live it’s insane!

Metallica composes a lot of songs that are more "friendly" to most music listeners. That's why they are the biggest metal band. Their music is very dynamic, they didn't stick to only one particular sub-genre.

Being in the mosh-pit is like being with brothers and sisters going crazy. Releasing all the pent up aggressions. We may be aggressive but we take care of each other, and it is all in good spirits that we do it. If you are disabled or have a low energy level please don't jump in with us. I like both Metallica and megadeath but to try to compare them is like night and day. As far as talent goes, kirk metallica's lead guitarist has been labeled as one of the best 10 in the world so..... Don't make sense to say megadeath is better lol
