Thank you for this…I’m coming out of a deep depression after my ex abandoned me abruptly and in a cruel manner. I was a good man to her. I loved her. Her past was filled with bad men. I know she looks down on me wearing her Gucci clothes and living in her big house. But she can’t sustain relationships and she drinks quite a bit. I accepted her unconditionally and he tossed me out like trash when she was done. I will rise as she follows her life to the bottom of her next wine glass

I have told people Dark Force is becoming my talk therapy and motivation on a daily basis - I listen to this channel on a daily basis (usually on the bus on the way to work). For most of my life, people assume I am stupid because I have a physical disability (Cerebral Palsy). Despite this, I have a college education (English), a black belt in Shotokan Karate (also a Paralympic Kata Champion (2018, 2019, 2022), a published author, I am a MS Office Specialist - a computer technician, and an advocate for people who have disabilities. This includes, physical, mental, emotional, and neurodivergent needs. Yet my friends and family sometimes treat me like I am a helpless five-year old. I literally told my family last night: "When I tell you something, and you tell me I am being too sensitive or overdramatic - or you tell me I don't try, you are completely negating my feelings just to make yourself feel better. This year, I am telling you now, I am not repeating myself more than twice, and when I tell you something, or express myself, I need you to actually listen to me and not just assume I am being negative when I am genuinely expressing my feelings. And then, six months later, you ask me why I didn't tell you sooner. Why didn't I tell you sooner? It's because what I say doesn't matter. People don't listen to me when I tell them something, and they just do what they want anyway. Well, this year will be different.
