I cringe every time you throw things in your van. I’m like yep he can resell that and then it gets thrown in the van .. hmm maybe not worth as much now and eventually squashed under a pile of metal and scratched up ..... now definitely not worth selling. Ahh just scrap it.... 😂

Still amazes me how much we Americans value crap and throw it out to make room for new crap. I'm also a PT flipper and it's nice to prevent items from going into a landfill and making a few bucks profit at the same time.

Lamp meed a globe and clear chimney possibly from 60's very nice. You could take those two pedastle bases and put plywood on top for your warehouse just a thought. As always great video!

My dad and I use to do this (scrapping) when I was a little kid, about 10 years old. Back in those days we would just get stacks of newspapers and only pick scrap copper or brass. I remember when folks would actually throw away old comic books (that was back in the early 60's).... I would be a rich man today if I would have known back then what I know now. God bless....

Looks like the “tropical storm” that formed in the Gulf of Mexico, that we got no warning for here in Louisiana, and knocked out electricity for 4 days went your way. We had trees down and power lines down everywhere from tornadoes.

Just curious where you take all your stuff to sort through and break down for recycle. Unfortunately, I often see some people doing this but because they live in a small townhome the driveway and yard can look like a junkyard. Not fair to your neighbours in close proximity. You ended the video what looks like a more remote property. Do you have a large garage or workshop?

Hi...I am not ragging on you for your pronunciations (Heck, I am from Bradford County, PA and probably have the same accent as you), but the electrical units that you pick up from that fellow are not "capacitators", but "capacitors" (no extra A in there) that are the type used with single phase electrical motors.
