They told me NOT to go to THIS Country

This country has one of the lowest tourist to local rates in the world. But why does nobody want to visit here? What i experienced in this country was quite shocking from what the media had told me.
This is the first part of a series about my adventure through Bangladesh and primarily focuses on the capital city of Dhaka. I explored all over the main city for a few days and had an incredible but stressful experience.

You mainly roamed around old Dhaka. New Dhaka, which is the largest part of Dhaka has many modern places too.

Btw, that beggar prolly didn't ask for cash since recently, some people have faced charges for pestering foreign travel vloggers. He prolly just didn't wanna get into trouble as opposed to "being shocked 'cause you were in the streets" 😅 And obviously Dhaka people are also accustomed to foreign vloggers walking down the street and stuff. Edit: honestly surprised how Jamal didn't know what an ATM/Bank is at first. Despite most Bangaldeshis not having bank accounts, everyone knows what a bank is. Plus, mobile banking is pretty big in Bangladesh. He prolly didn't understand your native accent. Feels like this whole video is based on a dramatized narrative. For the curious people out there: Most places here are just different parts of Old Dhaka. Exceptions: I think there was a shot from Shahbag (the place with those statues at 7:45) and 2 more shots from Hatirjheel (the nice little bridge connecting 2 sides of a lake at 7:55; the lake is called Hatirjheel) Wish there were some cool lake shots. Nice story telling, the scriptwriter needs a raise. Couldn't say the same for cinematography tho, sound effects was the saving grace.

Yeah my interpretation of things could have been different then they were but it was my experience. The only thing I regret is that I wasn’t able to capture more of the moments on camera. But at the time I didn’t really have a plan of creating this video it was just documenting my trip around the world. This was all filmed back in fall 2022. No script writer, just me sharing my story. Thank you for the feedback though! Still working on how to share my stories…

I'll be sure to check out your next posts, pictures from the trip. Despite living in Dhaka, I hardly have the liberty of touring my own city, much less the whole country due to a busy schedule. Not to mention the congestion. So it's always nice to see my own country through the lenses of a foreign national.

The "war between India and Pakistan" started in western front of India on 3rd December 1971 when Pakistan launched surprise air-strikes on airfields in north-western India. And that "war between India and Pakistan" ended simultaneously when Pakistanis surrendered to "BANGLA DESH and India Joint Forces" on 16th December 1971 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. So stop spreading your idiotic false history and stop belittling Bangladesh.

This land was named Bangladesh by our father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1969, even before he declared our independence on 26th March 1971. And we were not "provided independence" by anyone, our valiant freedom fighters fought for our freedom and independence. India and Russia helped during our war of liberation. You get a "fact check" man.
