As a Christian born Israeli citizen who is Arab, Bassem is 100% correct. If you are born as an Arab you are essentially treated as a lower class citizen and constantly being ostricized from the rest of society. Ex- buying homes or land in Jewish areas, or having professional careers that are either run by the state or predominately Jewish. This idea that Adam keeps bringing up that they simply love being there is far from the truth, the reality is they have nowhere better to go so they are forced to stay there.
