@@xaviorshideout it is possible, and with ai it can be even better. Just imagine your playing the game, you and your friend are separated only letting you speak through a radio. The monster has been listening in the entire time and then hijacks your friends mic making it so that they can’t talk and only listen in on their imposter impersonating them. On the other side your just talking with your friend when suddenly they come back in a panic saying that you weren’t talking to them.

The whole principle behind the "bacteria" is that there is some foreign strain of microbial life that exists in the Backrooms, and in this instance it appears to have grown on, over, and within a piece of camera equipment, incorporating it into its overall structure. It is why it can "see" and "hear", and why it can repeat things back to you. The sounds it makes are the distorted screams of people it has previously hunted.

TLDR at the bottom. I see a lot of folks in the comments talking about how they liked the little arguments but i think maybe they aren't taking into account how there are people out there (like me) who get stressed and panicked when hearing people have screaming matches over little things. Like, imagine living your life in a family that has constant screaming matches, and i mean at least once a week you had to listen to one family member in particular scream at someone like a banshee. Many times it was directed towards your dad, sometimes your brother and often times it was directed at you. And now think of how Icy is with the others every time they play multiplayer. I think this is a similar experience that many of the folks who were complaining/critiquing their videos over. I gotta say that I was getting to a point where I started to be unable to finish videos because Icy just kept antagonizing everyone into arguments no matter what it was about and how much he seemed to relish in the yelling matches. Which was only made worse because he has such a high pitched yell. I even at one point decided I was going to avoid the multiplayer videos with Icy involved because they weren't enjoyable to watch. I actually had to talk myself into watching this video to begin with because I knew it was multiplayer but when they started off talking about how the constant arguments were gonna be cut I actually, very literally, let out a sigh of relief and felt my body relax. And while i get some folks view of thinking it's funny to see them joke around, after a while it stops feeling like joking. For example, when Markiplier plays with Wayde or Bob you can TELL they're joke arguing %90 of the time because they make it obvious they aren't being serious but when IGP and Icy play together it gets VERY difficult to tell when they're joking and fake arguing or when they're ACTUALLY angry at eachother, often times over literally nothing. TLDR: Remember thet people with dysfunctional families are common and don't like to hear constant screaming. Icy has a bit too high pitched of a voice when screaming to be getting away with scream arguing all the time. I get why some folks can find it funny but all the time isn't fun for most people. And tone makes a huge difference on if people can tell if the argument is satirical or serious and tbh it's very difficult to tell when Icy goes off, usually for little to no reason.

The whistling is just so unsettling. I used to whistle sometimes while walking home on dark, quiet nights if my phone was dead or I didn't have my ipod with me. One night, I was whistling and at a lower tone, I hear someone whistling the next part of my song. I looked around and didn't see ANYONE near me. I stopped whistling, put my hood up and practically sprinted the rest of the way home. I don't whistle at night anymore.

I wish more people would play this game hopefully when the next patch drops more people will flock back this game was honestly a lot of fun I got stuck so long I basically grew the balls to just run from the monster instead of sneaking around n shit the moment I heard anything popped almond energy and jetted out of their ended up having to ask the discord for help tho lmao couldn't find the exit. the whistle feature is honestly so terrifying in single player I was walking and the goon spawned a little in front of me it had me shook but I turned around and ran until I found a closet was hiding for about 40 seconds whistled to see if he was still there it was dead silent and I got two whistles back that sounded like they where right outside the closet e.e
