I saw them in concert, stood to close to their gigantic speakers and couldn't hear for 2 days. Totally worth it.

First time I've heard their music and I liked most of it, especially the closing section.

You have finally found crack the sky. I've been seeing them for years. 56 now and they just get better every time. Dive into the music.

Awesome song! Thanks Harri and Scott. I remember hearing this song as well as the band's "Hot Razors in My Heart" on 98 Rock in Baltimore. I also saw Crack the Sky perform at Hammerjacks in Baltimore back in the mid-1980s. Fun memories

One of Greatest American bands that no one's heard of.Try HoldOn/Surf City, Nuclear Apathy. They belong in the same conversation as their British contemporaries Be-Bop Deluxe and 10cc. Always interesting to listen to. I Wish I had see them back in-the-day.

They're still at it! They are to this day a huge draw in the Baltimore, MD area. I am from the midwest and unfortunately haven't been to any of their concerts. Their extensive catalog covers and twists just abiut any "genre" there is. Legends!

For some strange reason this song evoked musical memories of the Beatles’ White Album 🤔 I don’t even know why 🤷🏻♀️

Actually, they love the Beatles!

Thanks Harri. Actually, Rolling Stone called them the best progressive US band that you’ve never heard of.
@enstigatorofficial27 күн бұрын
that is hilarious, you paused it to commentate right before the really progressive part. You need to really hear the song "Nuclear Apathy" by this band, a true diverse progressive journey that is unequaled and why they earned the title "most progressive band in the USA".

Crack The Sky did extensive touring, opening for both Styx and Kansas...among others. Now those would have been amazing shows.
