My experience says it's not a peace offering. What typically happens is they can't get in/get through. If the "offering" is accepted, it's used as permission back in or some kind of legal right to do harm. You have unknowingly allowed them to purchase something. They have given you something now you owe them. It's just best to say I forgive than to accept anything from them.

Sometimes, when I have been given a "gift" that I suspect has strings attached, I have made a point of using it for the benefit of something/someone outside of myself. Wow that’s amazing to witness! I recently had a dream of this person who has constantly and consistently attacking me in my dreams. A few days ago it was the first time in years of being attacked that I addressed them by name out loud and told them I knew what they were doing. I stood my ground and demanded they stop and that God is with me and I am no longer afraid of him. I never felt so powerful in my dream. It was an experience that I am happy to be at spiritually. It showed me my strength and growth.

This is my situation Stephanie and this is an older guy who took advantage of me as a teen-even up until my early twenties. I never realized I was being taken advantage of and used…I thought he was actually helping me because there were things I needed at the time because my parents wouldn’t help me. I believed it was my fault. When I confronted him about it he gaslighted me and said that he was only trying to help me & that nothing ever seemed good enough. He said I was important to him and he loved me and then said that maybe if I grew up in a different area then my life would’ve been better for me and it wouldn’t have been so bad. It was one excuse after another and then him trying to blame my geographical location on these events..I don’t understand why after so long these individuals still cannot see and refuse to admit what part they played in these situations. They were supposed to be the adults in this situation and now that my eyes have been opened to the truth it’s really sad..
