Holy sheets! This type of plastic panelling is precisely the sort of thing I was looking for tbh, for a lot of wood-like odd parts that need to be completely invincible against water. I wish these things were mass produced and sold in construction material stores.

How do you inject UV stabilzer into the sheet, because if you want to make it for outdoor it will crack?

❤Love these pannels would love to Make a work top for my kitchen in the uk out of this ❤do u ship to the uk?
@gges16055 ай бұрын
They should try getting those panels longer and they will be a lot more useful for wall paneling or kitchen worktops etc it seems the limiting factor just now is size. another idea would be plastic logs (log cabin) or bricks (giant lego) which could be used for building especially if they are hollow and could be filled with insulation foam. However just having a large panel with foam core and plastic on both sides could be used in construction. Similar to GRP panels. If getting longer lengths is impossible then perhaps moulding in some sort of locking system like a dovetail joint so they physically join to each other would work or use cnc to create the dovetail ends joining pieces could be used with dovetail holes at various angles making the process of building something fairly easy. There's a huge amount of potential there personally I like the giant lego's one but that's because i'm a big kid at heart.

It can be used for all those things, but it must be used carefully in kitchens, because of temperatures.

How is it that these sheets often have color patterns that seem to sweep or expand outward from a central point? How is that accomplished? It looks so cool!
@samfosteriam Жыл бұрын
Beautiful work. You can tell the quality of the sheets by the sound I think - it rings a little so you know its become one piece with an even density. Do the cold presses maintain active pressure during cooling? I guess you can only press so many sheets an hour but that whole rig just to hold a single sheet while it cools seems a lot of equipment and space. The result speak for themselves though and they seem a smart pair - no doubt if there was a cheaper/simpler way they would be doing that.

Hello, I have a question regarding the resistance of HDPE to UV light for outdoors applications. I saw a video a while ago that mentioned an additive to stabilize the HDPE. I made a quick search and found a product called HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers). Is this something you guys use? If yes, how is it used and where can I find some? Thank you in advance.

Love This!!! Just be safe:: They need to have respirators suitable for filtering the toxic fumes these plastics emit. Especially this young woman if she plans to have children. Wear long sleeves as well. The fumes can be absorbed by the skin and impact the entire body through the skin. As well.

cracked the recycling game by not recycling at all post manufacturer byproducts are not recycled materials this is kinda stupid.
@florianvdb7444 Жыл бұрын
Pros and cons for this business. It's using granulate from factories. But that could be recycling as well (eventually). But the product is high end thus creating a thriving business generating money which allows creating products of recycled plastic.
