Kiyosaki is a poison, a tool of a sick neo-liberal thinking. There's a system of value rewarding that is very much rigged. Robert's dad teaches people, a noble task. Robert do sales talk, presenting value of something that isnt there. Who gets rewarded better? Yes, the son. Is it bacause he's more valuable? No. It's because he has adjusted better to a sick system. Formal education is supposed to make people capable of advancing humanity. Education is never for money. There are people like kiyosaki who teaches how to deal with the world as it is. This is not the mindset we need to have a world as it should be. Kiyosaki wants you to make adjustments to a sick system rather than actually becoming valuable to others. He's a poison. Education system remains sick but it is our chance to make our people have greater value, and not Kiyosaki bootcamp. The existing system only allows a few to become rich but the system will make all think that everyone can become as fortunate as Kiyosaki. Isnt that sick? If you fail, it's your fault. That's too neo-liberal. It removes the burden to us as a society like it's not our fault as a civilization. We blame those who failed to make adjustments. And everyone blames themselves. And the system remains unchanged. The rich adjusted well to the system. The poor only failed to adjust. Social status doesn't talk about our true value.

@@boopboop9356 I reject both extremes to the equation. Saying "money doesn't matter" is dumb, because in this world, money does matter a lot. Saying "money is all that matters" is also dumb, because it's only one part of it all. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure helps to have money. Poverty certainly doesn't buy happiness either. I've seen many people go from loving each other to arguing and being mad at each other because of lack of money. There is tremendous truth in what is said in this video. We are trained to think in certain ways about money, to have enough but not have on excess for example. I think a balance is needed. If money is all you care about, life loses its color. If you don't care about money, it tends to become a struggle, and that doesn't lead to a colorful life either. I love money, but that doesn't mean I love money more than I love the people I have in my life.

That statement made an impression on me, too, but upon reflection, it didn't resonate. Some of the most ambitious people I've ever seen collect paychecks inside corporations. Their brains are definitely not shut down. Kiyosaki makes interesting points that are worth pondering, but it would be wise to consider him to "always be closing". This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get more of his products and services sold, too. I'm not mad at him for that. He does it well, and inspires people to risk failure in pursuit of their dreams.

What it means is you feel all the emotions yet you choose to see the positive aspect in the most negative situation. Being an optimist in negative situations is like silverlining. Life as it is, is full of rocky terrains but it is upto us to make it a bed of roses. We have the power but our ignorance takes the best of us as we allow our minds to control us rather than us controlling our mind. Take a look at it from the speakers side. I know the example that I'm going to use is simply a movie; Idiocracy; that movie made a valid point. The overall intelligence quotient of any given population is based on the simple numbers of how many smarter people exist in comparison to the rest of the dumber ones, and how dumb are the dumb ones truly. Gregor Mendel proved that genetics is a real thing and that genetic traits get passed on through each generation, so what if stupidity is one of them? What if the "poor person gene" is analogous for a lesser intelligent person who is generationally trained to be bad with money? The way he says it makes it seem outlandish and even downright stupid, but given some context, maybe it's not so crazy.

I don't enjoy the effect that an abundance of money does to the person... Entitlement, suspicion, the feeling that you are 'better than the next person' because you make more... Careful y'all, if your first thought is something like "that's what poor people say." Then you've automatically lumped yourself in, intentionally with those who have no problem doing what "thou shalt not..." I'll take the humble, hard working, often struggling and honest perspective over the ladder every lifetime... BECAUSE it's harder! I can better understand others who struggle, more possibly why, and maybe how to help someone other than myself. Just another form of the many currencies I covet, so much more than 💰... Oh, and I swore to myself at an early age to be the apple who fell FAR from the 🌳; in other words, anti-narcissist. I only hate a few things... Being born into the Rothschild family helps, just a tiny weenie bit though... The old saying, the poor and middle can make one big mistake and it's game over for them. The rich, those born into it, can make mistake after mistake after mistake with little to no reprecussion. For example; Terry Brandstad, Iowa former governor, son was in a car accident awhile back. He was suspected of drunk driving. The driver of the other vehicle died on the scene from severe injuries. Brandstad got off the hook. No involuntary manslaughter. The whole situation stinks of corruption. When you are in a family of rich and powerful, you get special privilege. Period. Yes, some people make it on their own. But in this world,it's who you know and where you were born into. Even Robert said his dad was a PHD. Be nice to see Robert start from scratch in poverty in this day and age and see his success.
@em.4155 жыл бұрын
Yes. He made some good points about the education system but seems to be lacking other context about poverty. Maybe because he was born into privilege himself. He made interesting points in some parts of the video but grossly oversimplified poverty in other parts. Like “the poor are greedy”. Worker production has gone up significantly over the decades but wages have stayed the same. Not because of greed of the workers but from people at the top. And he seems to not understand that poor people cannot take the same entrepreneurial risks that he could because he already became wealthy. Telling poor people that there are no systemic issues and they are poor solely from their choices is disastrous. I agree with him though about the education system teaching people how to be employees instead of entrepreneurs. I noticed that in college.

John Lennon is poorly equipped financially, socially and morally to give anyone advice about the working class. He virtually spent his entire life like a spoiled little rich kid, aloof and distant from the reality of true poverty. He feigned a "working class" persona from an ivory tower to ease his moral conscience. Easy to preach "power to the people" while you live in 5 star hotels, a huge mansion in Berkshire with over 70 acres, or an exclusive NY apartment in the Dakota Building. Yeah, a true working class hero! 😃

@@lovepeace8918 well, a bit of both. But he did not come from the working class, thus he did not have that mind set. Paul McCartney on the other hand did. It's a funny twist of fate. @Jean Sullivan most rich get rich by over valuating something, convincing a massive amount of people to give a little of their earnings, to the rich persons benefit, not mutual benefit. I for one try to buy everything direct n online, no middle man sales snake in between or paying for frivulous things like a store front or shareholders. I would love solar panels to not pay the electric man. Most people don't want to be rich, just not dependent. The rich have manipulated society to be dependent, so we can make them rich. That's y the rich hate the idea of legalized marijuana for example. Because you can't tax or make a profit on a plant u can grow on your own. That's y they don't want us to have solar panels, Wells. They want us dependent on their pre built systems. It's a joke most young people see right thru today.

@@OrlandoSuave That is one of the reasons I got out of sales. It's the Modus Operandi of all businesses industry, to deceive the public by what ever trick possible, to get people to buy their products and services; products made cheap that won't last, hailed as the new marvel, services engineered to snag a customer in to an agreement, that will cheat them out of their money, with lousy and sometimes with services, that the public could obtain free, through other venues. I used to think older people where cynical, because they where just miserable, no, they are cynical through wisdom gained through experience.

I was offered all kinds of things from the city I'm in, but I opened in an area where there are not enough jobs and all of those are minimum wage. So the Brewery that's been there for years did EVERYTHING to make my life harder. Using local counsel leverage, getting law enforcement involved, even going as low as sending fake customers to review bomb us. This dude literally has a quarter billion and a monopoly on this town yet every one is still struggling. We offer benefits and a better starting wage and he knows our beer is damned good along with our chef. Instead of working to help this town, which we have been doing, he wanted me gone. After 2 years and the impact we've had, he still hasnt given up, but we arent going anywhere.
