I subscribe to another channel, Salvage Rebuilds UK, you may have heard of them? For those that don’t know, they do some fantastic repairs on right offs and are very well respected in what they can achieve, Rob and Chris, Chris is the main repair guy and is a genius in what he can do. You James are up there with them, the lengths you go to in making your cars the best they can possibly be and the service you offer is second to none, anyone who knows of you will have no hesitation in recommending you as an honest and trustworthy car salesman. I know if I wanted a car I would come to you , unfortunately you are too far away, all the best and keep up the good work.

107 looks well! Recently got a 107 for my eldest as a first car. Great way to start out driving. I quickly became attached to it, probably down to it being so cheap and dependable, to the point where I want to drive it whenever I can. Even on my 80 mile commute instead of my 5 series. It really has made me think again on what I really need from a car and how much money I want tied up in something that depreciates.

@chrispop99 not if you buy the cheapest Chinese ones. I've found replacing incandescent bulbs with leds has been a bit of a mine field. I settled on some indicator ones but they are to bright really and they didn't work in a modeo so I had to use them in the focus instead. The mondeo was to sensitive and actually cut the power to them . I had earlier red stop tail fail a lot, I had an issue where they worked on tail lights then brake lights. The when I tried just the brake lights I heard a pop and then they no longer worked on tail lights. I actually fitted my own resistor In the end as the replacement set did the same thing. Took a wile too find ones bright enough to replace the fog lamp one and the reverse light one. It's hard to know what your getting as the sellers make wild claims. And often the brake light function is more like tail light.

Having original ones also shows that the car has previously driven by a careful driver. No worry with 6-month come-backs on waranty work with your high detail valeting, in fact, every 6 months they come back; again and again. Then you do a national frachise. Then you sell the entire national franchise business to investors for 10 million, and Bob's your uncle.

Amazing job although could you not have done anything with the dent on the silver trim on the front bumper? Sticks out like a sore thumb in the video so no doubt the buyer would've saw it, unless she doesn't mind since it is a 12 year old car.

No she did not mind so I left it, remember she saw it pre prep

cleaning an engine/engine bay hides oil leaks as your washing the oil away. thats why a lot of people prefer a "honest" engine bay and cleaning it its an old fashioned trick that car dealers used to do when they put short warranties on cars (30 days or sold as seen etc) especially cam cover/rocker/oil sump gasket leaks. (after washing the engine clean around the leaking gasket with brake clean and wipe clean with a cloth and smear vulcanising rubber solution (same stuff you use for fixing puntures in pedal bikes) around the outside of the gasket and rub it in with your finger remove the excess with a cloth and leave it to dry it will rubberize.. all the cracks will be filled and it will stop the leaks for about a month right until the warranty runs out then it will start leaking again..customers problem then) i know this as i used to be a car valeter for a garage back in the day and was taught all those tricks!.

You won't sell cars with dirt engine bays, not for decent money anyway. They all get cleaned regardless. Warranties make no difference, the law is 6 months so a quick wash is not going to hide a serious problem long enough for 6 months

John, to me, a thilthy engine bay just shows poor preparation. Personally I'd rather a clean engine bay so as to keep an eye on everything and know nothing was leaking. Whatever vehicle I buy I like to take them for a really good motorway run and then check absolutely everything.

Great video mate, tbh I'm surprised you took 2795, I bet if you'd cleaned, prepped it first you'd have 3295 d it, there's just no small cheapies about, same with the micra, quick jiff round and a couple of jobs, bet they don't come back anyway as its a classic get out, oh I'll check mot history, ins ect, great paint job for a can, if you could have done say 700 net on that pug I'd have thought that's pretty good, can't agree about FB loads of dodgy pretend private sellers selling cars with serious issues, personally it's proper main dealer auctions for me, tbh if you'd have bought 10 like that 107 from bca you'd be doing good money, better I suspect than a masser, disco and all those big ticket items, also just do 30 days warranty, I mean 61 plate, 2795,6 mths warranty, service, any comebacks done, bit genorous mate, 07s are doing 1800 at auction now.

He went over it 3 or 4 videos back, needs plenty of work so spares or repair deal only. Think he said under £500 then.
