Thank God I'm led to him to learn. I just have to ask how he could die of cancer? I'm trying to understand.

The things of God are understood by faith, through the Holy Spirit. If we only preach what makes sense in the natural realm, when and how will we, the church, ever start moving in the supernatural. If people preach only to explain what is happening around us and not preaching by faith about the things that God has prepared for us, how will the world ever come to know the things that God has prepared for us. Here's a famous quote from Prophet Kobus: "We don't preach healing because we are healed, we preach healing because Jesus told us to heal the sick." Some background on his life: He was sick from a very young age. Even as a boy he spent holidays through in hospital. Doctors gave him no chance to live (several times) and despite that he only sought after God more. The fact that he lived 61 years and never stopped preaching the word of God is in itself a miracle. The things (put in here anything that you can imagine) of God is understood through and by faith. We don't understand why things happen the way they do, but we know that through this man God has healed thousands upon thousands of people and the legacy that he left behind is that of opening the Word for people like you and me to better understand and making it practical for us to apply.

It's possible for a man of God to have a sickness as he heals others, and in such a case it takes love(God) to be praying and fasting to heal others when you yourself are sick and really this is encouraging many men called by God backslide when they are hit with a sickness, they forget that the calling is not about them but about God and His mission,e.g if a man of God gets HIV after committing adultery,is he supposed to ask God why or how can he heal others if he is sick?no!,he should rather concentrate on reconciling himself back to God and continue with the calling and if God wants to He will heal him if not he still ought to be grateful for God will strengthen him for being His servant and prolong his days, but if he stops working for God he is likely to die quicker, thank you(zambian)

It would take most of us a hundred lifetimes to accomplish what Kobus accomplished in his short lifetime! The power that flowed through that man was astounding. There must've been a great celebration in heaven when Kobus arrived! "Well done good and faithful servant!"

Deuteronomy 18:15, Moses declares, “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers-it is to him you shall listen.” Notice that Moses not only reveals the coming of this future prophet, but he also commands Israel to listen to him.

Everyone Jesus ministered to in his hometown was healed. He never tried and failed. He laid his hands on a few sick people and they were healed. He just didn’t minister to as many people as he usually did because they were offended at him.
