They Were Forced To ABANDON This SUPER Creepy Old Farmhouse

I'm sure this was a nice one in its original day, the stairs and beautiful railings are still there. Renovations at different times were ok too but hard to tell what was in some places such as the kitchen. I can tell it has two different additions judging by the two different types of brick at 0:22 and the portion with the vinyl siding. I'd also like to say that was one of the most oppressive basements I've ever seen to get around in, only a crawspace could be worse. Thanks for the tour Greg and thanks Katie for turning us on to this fine location. Who knows. 12:27 A loo for the sprogs old chap! 🧐 14:00 Not subjected to high humidity and/or good quality blades. 15:20 Fido's bedroom to call his own, no humans allowed. 18:46 Ballsey, after all it is a long drop. EMS required. 23:54 Done by the teen daughter who's room it was by my educated guess as the two magazine pages on the opposite wall suggests.

Hey John!! It was definitely nice in its day, still looks good from outside.. The railings were absolutely stunning, and yeah I agree with your theory on the renovations.. The kitchen still seemed small to me. and that basement was really crammed in there lol. I wonder if they dug it out at some point?? Thank you both. This home is made to last with the granite foundations, a Mish mash inside but could easily be restored to glory. The staircase is gorgeous. As for the basement, I'd block that door and never think of it again

Hey El!! Yeah that foundation isn't going anywhere, pretty solid stuff! Inside obviously ended up that way from all the renovations and probably poor planning.. The stairs are stunning, and funny enough, that basement was blocked when Katie first found the place, she's the reason we know about it! I always seem to miss the live explore! lol What a pretty house. Too bad it won't be saved and moved. 15:30 That storage area was originally just open space beneath the stairs, and was closed in a few decades ago when they wanted to add a main-floor potty. That would explain the wallpaper inside...it was wallpapered when it was part of the original room. 20:30 Isn't it just so strange that the newest part of the house is the most rotted? It sure says a lot regarding the quality of older construction!

Hey Lynn!! Not always but this time yes lol. we missed you! This house definitely has potential still but yeah it wont be saved and that is a complete shame. That is a great observation about the stairs wallpapering and the water closet being a renovation. Yeah, it's telling of the 'modern' build quality, the design was also kinda poor.. It’s cool how they made a gate out of a door, that’s unique. I thought the shutters were blue until Katie said they were green 😂. My favorite part was the pine walls, especially the angled wood, (thanks for the shout out brother). Katie did a good job with the camera by the way. Awesome explore as always!

This house had a lovely ceiling in the kitchen, I thought that green wallpaper was also pretty cool, the staircase and the bannisters were intact, which I thought was unusual, but considering it was so low, it makes sense why nobody help themselves to it. I did like that ceiling swirly stuff. I forget what you called it but I now know it has asbestos and it has a lot of huge rooms and I do believe that when this house was lived in it was beautiful. You can tell that work was put into it with the borders and everything, like the little ducks, etc. I really liked this house but then again I love the old farm houses. Keep up the good work Greg and Katie.

It's really unfortunate that someone couldn't have restored it to it's natural beauty 😞 The staircase was timeless and with some elbow grease, would've been gorgeous! I wasn't too hip on the basement, but that's what they were like back then. It was nice to see Katie and see she's coming out of her shell, she's knowledgeable as well .
