@ninocrown32473 ай бұрын
Zion is a better ballhandler and shooter than Shaq. I think Giannis would be more Shaq with a little Zion. Shaq would have to stay around his Orlando weight. The size he played with in LA would be too much. He was still fast and mobile, but he would have to lose some to have the same career in the modern NBA, due to center’s stretching the floor. All that weight would cause more injuries and shorten his career today. Orlando Shaq without a doubt could play today and be as dominant on both ends.

I dont think most people were "laughing" at his weight as much as they are concerned for his health and longevity. When he can jump as high as he can and be that physical your knees/ankles can only handle so much impact over time. Him being heavy isn't necessary for him to be good at the game and it's only a potential burden.

NOLA currently stands at the seventh position, which puts them squarely in the middle of the pack. Zion's current stats are impressive; he's averaging 22.3 points per game, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in the 2023-24 Regular Season. But is he an NBA All-Star? The number of games he's played is also worth noting. More importantly, was he up to the challenge when it really mattered? Let's not jump to conclusions and assume he is suddenly on track for a redemption arc. And what about his performance off the court? Zion had his fair share of drama in 2023, particularly related to his personal life. Not the role model type? But he did a model though. 😂😂😂

Why exactly is Zion "laughing at their record"? The Pelicans have a better win percentage when Zion misses the game than when he plays... They are also 5 points per possession better when Zion is on the bench vs in the game... Seems to me that the Pelicans decent record is largely thanks to their bench, not Zion.
