This is from when they was known as Eskimo Callboy and the lead singer then was Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler. He left in 2020 ( I think) and in stepped Nico Sallach, which has brought a different vibe to the style, vocals and of course the fun and wackiness that we both love, whilst still being authentic to who the band was. The next one I'd love to see you do is "Tekkno Train" but I think you've done that (couldn't see a playlist to check), or "Arrow of Love", their different take on Cupid!😂

If I am not mistaken, the song is about drug addiction with crystal meth. This was with their old singer. It was even back in the days one of the harder songs. After listen to a bunch of their older stuff, I see why Sushi limited their advance. I like his screamos. But his clean voice gets either sometimes annoying or it sound like Rasmus. Having said this, they made still dope music. And they also goofed around in the past, e.g. in their younger days they made a song Muffin Purper Gurk where they had to deal with a lost of a guinea pig. The newer EC cover more music style and mix they together. From the newer songs I think you did not react to "Parasite".

So hard, so good! Very different vibe back then with Sushi as lead singer. They did fun stuff then too though. But now with Nico it's a lighter tone and more party :-D Love them in any iteration.

No, not really a love ballad - this song deals thematically with a crystal-meth addiction... a very different and toxic relationship. In my mind Crystals is Sushi's Song (former lead singer until 2020), it's the only one I prefer his voice in over Nico's. Responsible for the video: Schillo Brothers

What a difference between the 2 vocalists, yea?!? [Sushi vs Nico) There you go again!!! Turning up the volume…speeding, weaving in & out out of traffic 😲🤭😊 🏎️💨 🚙 🚚 🚗 ^^ 🚛 🚗 🛻 🚙 Once Nico joined, thru their music, it feels like there’s relief among all of the band members. It’s evident in their more recent silly & creative music. As well as their more serious music…Check out Parasite-If you haven’t already and just compare it to Crystals.

Oh yeah, I went quick with the comment. As mentioned before, the clean vocalist/lead singer for this song is Sushi, so a different person. Electric Callboy and him had creative differences with him wanting to go more into the serious/dark direction while the rest wanted to become what they are today - a fun partycore band with some serious songs. So they parted ways. Sushi founded/joined (not sure) the bandproject GHØSTKID that is moderately succesful as well with around 250k monthly listens on spotify. I enjoy them but they're not everyone's cup of tea. Something I'm sure has been mentioned before several times is that Electric Callboy do almost everything themselves, even much of the production and mixing. The videography is done by the Schillo Bros, which is the video production company of second guitarist Pascal Schillo and his brother Oliver. Besides Electric Callboy, they also produced videos for bands like Hämatom and the (hilarious and much recommended) We Butter The Bread With Butter
